Is anyone watching Hailey's interview tonight?? We don't get the Insider here so I'm curious to read y'alls reviews.

I'm watching. I admit it.

She seems like a very overwhelmed young woman. I'm not sure she intended to say what she did during the interview and it just all tumbled out.

Maybe it's all an act, but I don't know... she's 22. a kid.

Someone should have told her to not go on TV, though.

this interview is weird. I think they're showing it out of order. not that it changes the content, because I don't think it does ... but it's weird.

and now they're in the car in a pre-interview and it's almost like she's a different person.

This article about Jon is bizarre. Some of it's posted above too, but if Jon actually said anything he is quoted as saying, I will eat my hat. It doesn't sound like him at all and there is no way I believe Jon even knows what altruistic means, let alone that he would actually use the word.

Ok, I just read about the last 20 pages of this thread.... WOW.

First off, LOVE that you all can talk about it as adults, thank you for that! Its nice to hear different sides and views, kudos to you all!

Secondly, I feel sad for this family. Im not sure if the show was a good or bad thing, but they seemed happy on many of those seasons.

Third, Kate said on ELLEN she can't go back. Right, I get that. But why not bow out of the whole thing. Go back to nursing, maybe wind up having to get a smaller home, downsize, and possibly be with Jon again. I get she has a very high monetary lifestyle now.. but lots of people did in this country and I believe we all make do when life throws us a curveball. I just feel like its the easiest solution. I know they can't escape the paparazzi, but lets stop the interviews on every show and channel and get back to a real life.

Kate says she can't go back,
but deep down she knew she had to renew her nurse licenses.
Kate probably told herself so many times they can't go back,
but heck, no one has to go back, you just go on, and stop what is wrong.

I saw the commercial for Hailey's interview, it appears that she is saying she would like to move on but loves him. She even says her parents don't care for Jon any longer and Jon lied to her mom.

Ya know, this whole saga just gets more and more bizarre....and unbelievable. I bet after the interview, Jon and Hailey had a good laugh and went out for some beers.

Just for a moment think of this whole charade as just that.... a charade. Jon and Kate's split, Jon's bad boy ways, TLC and Hailey...all of them in on one big scam for $$$. J & K plus 8 ratings are falling off so they come up with a way to keep them all in the headlines...a real life reality show. Perhaps Jon and Kate actually call each other weekly and plan out who is going to do what for the week to create controversy.

I don't really think so. But I do wonder sometimes.

Jon Gosselin is once again chastising his own behavior publicly and vowing to be a better person. And this time he says he’s going to do it with the help of a rabbi!

Jon, who just days ago stood on the steps of the Montgomery County, PA courthouse with his lawyer Mark Heller and attacked wife Kate while cameras rolled, says he is now in counseling to reconnect with his spirituality. He also pledges to make “things right” with Kate and their eight children.

So....I guess Jon is also taking grammar lessons from Rabbi Shmuley?

This would be great if it was for real -- for the sake of his kids I hope it is, because they'd get a better dad IMO (I'd choose flakey over douchebag any day). Otherwise, he's going like an even bigger fool than he already does.

If it really is on the up-and-up, it's going to create be strange -- we'll have Kate doing the salon and the swanky shopping malls, claiming she has to do the show for a paycheque, with Jon running around trying to be a do-gooder. Who would have thought we'd end up here 3 months ago?

But is it possible to really discuss this without discussing religion at all?

Well, I take 24 hours off, and I come back here to see:

Links to at least 3 videos I don't want to see because both Jon and Kate need to shut up;

Numerous links to articles and editorials that will probably confirm my opinions that both J & K are a total waste of space;

At least 3 repetitive interviews in print by Kate (and yes she is talking more than Jon and even more stupidly) with various media persons that should know better (yawn, I doubt the content is new and she should be home with her kids not whining to the media);

Indications that Rabbi Whatsit (who I've never heard of but might have previously been OK) who is determined to join Dr Phil (who is a freakin' shyster) on the "why the APA should discipline us and remove our licences to practice because we are completely unethical shills pretending to practice psychotheraphy on TV" list of charlatans who exploit people in the news.

My head hurts, and I have not even touched on dear little Hailey who wants her 5 minutes of fame. What is this world coming to?

Anyone else wondering about the kids? Both Jon and Kate are in LA tonight.

I guess the nanny (sorry, baby sitter) has been there to tuck them into bed and make dinner).

Nah, doesn't sound like him. Jon can write well when he wants to -- I'm thinking of the wedding vows, for both weddings -- but those words are rarely used by anybody, let alone Jon.

I'm wondering what will make me believe that Jon is actually taking the advice of the Rabbi. Is there one thing that he could say or do that would make me think that he has found a new direction in his life? I'm not sure.

Yes, I thought about that, and if he stopped talking to the paparazzi, etc. But I would think those things would be too easy to do. Plus, it may be because his lawyer told him that TLC could sue him for doing those things eg. he hasn't done an interview in a couple of weeks, but nobody is thinking that he is a changed person. And nobody has suggested that he is being altruistic by starting the Jon Gosselin Children's Foundation -- people still question his motives.

Maybe if he got a real job, or went back to school -- or something that would only impress his children. I don't know.
