Lurker, but jumping in to say that I give Jon the benefit of the doubt that he's sincere in asking for help in getting his life straight and doing the best for his kids. I think both Jon and Kate have let things get to their heads, and I have no favoritism one over the other. I'm thinking Jon is really concerned about the way the kids live. At first he thought it was great to be the famous Gosslin family, but now he's seen the light as far as his kids are concerned. Just my opinion.
I think Jon's publicist (not unlike Kate's), is finally jumping aboard the bandwagon. If he was sincere, he would drop the kid he's dating, drop the cigarette's (I seldom see a picture of him without one), change his clothes, for God's sake, and start doing more mature things.
