I don't think he has a great memory for details like amounts. He just talks.
But TLC was quoted the other day as saying they had stopped paying the Gosselin family when filming stopped.
.
But, TLC wasn't paying the Gosselin family, they were paying Jon and Kate. I'd still like to know if Jon can get the money that he paid into the trust fund for the children back so that he can set up separate accounts for his children that he would have control over and not Kate.
Do you think it is a good idea he have control over the trust funds or are you worried he will get his hand on it?
Or dates -- he's had those mixed up before too. But I would have thought that ET would check these things.
Right now, I don't think that either one of them should have complete control over them. If Jon and Kate equally contributed to them as was said, then I think that he should be in control of at least 1/2 of the money in each account. As it is now, Kate could take it all and end up with 90% of the TLC money, Jon with 10% of that money and the children with nothing. If that happens, I don't think that there's a thing that anyone could do since she set them up as revocable trusts in her name.

I think ET & the Insider are playing good cop bad cop with him. They do not want to spook him.
They are letting him ramble on & being so supportive to him. They know something is wrong with him so they are giving him enough rope to hang himself.
I don't think they care if he is correct or wrong just talk Jon. The ratings are great.
Where is his family, why aren't they helping him. Why was Jon's mother not at the house this weekend celebrating the twins birthday.

You have just " jumped the shark" IMO![]()
actually, the point I was making is that although they said they weren't paying the Gosselin family they are still working with her, so they are still paying her -- and possibly paying for nannies, bodyguards, etc.
They're just not filming the children right now, and they're not paying any money to Jon.
Why? At this point, I don't trust either of them. I wouldn't put it past either of them to dip into these accounts. If Jon contributed half of the money in these accounts, why do you think that Kate should have complete control?
If these accounts were in Jon's name and Kate wanted control over her contributions, would say the same thing?

I just hired a temporary nanny while I battle the curse of the first trimester and I gotta say this is the first time I have been truly envious of Kate. I want a nanny fulltime.
Okay--no I don't want 10 kids and a failed marriage..but a full time nanny...would be HEAVEN!!!!
You forgot -- Jon's family isn't allowed at the house unless it's Jon's custody days. Kate didn't allow it when they were married, so no reason why she would allow it now.
And are you saying that ET and the Insider aren't going to question Jon if he makes an obvious factual error in an interview? IMO, he was questioned pretty intensely on The Insider. I haven't seen all of the ET interviews, so I can't comment on those.
Nevertheless, if it was an error, I'm sure we'll hear the correction from Kate's lawyer pretty soon.
ITA with this. If Kate didn't set up those trusts just as a tactic to keep money from Jon, then she should have no problem with either putting half of the trusts in his name, or putting all of them in both names ie. so both would have to sign to withdraw money. Better yet, appoint a trustee to oversee the kids' money.
Jon said that they set up the accounts and they could take from them if needed. Where did we find out that Kate did and only she could take money out?that happens, I don't think that there's a thing that anyone could do since she set them up as revocable trusts in her name.
For some reason, some people get all too caught up in the tabloid stories, thinking that this is the totality of a person -- how many times have I seen a comment on an article about Jon, or on his twitter, that somebody "hopes he rots in hell"? Or that Kate should have her children taken away from her? Maybe fair statements towards a character in a movie or on a TV drama, but unfortunately these are real people with real lives and real children.

I would say if Jon get his hands on this money his "Friends" in NYC will be very happy.![]()
