:rotfl2: we posted the same information at the exact same time

I guess Kate probably shouldn't have bought those boots -- looks like she's going to need the money now.

 Jinx! Actually, we posted different websites too!

I was a tad confused though. Kate is supposed to account for her $55,000, right? Does she have to release that info. BEFORE court? Does she have to alert Jon's attorney also?

I hope they didn't take her check! ;)

It's nice she found money for boots, with all the bills she can't pay and the hungry kids and all. :) ;)
I think the cease and desist was for all filming, b/c otherwise I believe TLC would be currently filming on Kate's days, just off the property. Jon said TLC could not film his kids anymore, and they are still married. Maybe it does change when they divorce.

Maybe she landed that McDonalds job she was talking about...

You mean when TLC was taping right? The few minutes we saw of each show LOL? What do you think..would your husband be helping you a lot more than usual if they were taping him? I'd have bet mine would.

I think there was a bit more to taking care of the kids than getting up and getting Kate coffee, and giving them baths. Sounds like most parents, that try to share duties when possible. Even with the help they had, there was a lot more to taking care of 8 kids than just baths and breakfast.

I'm curious, when most people's kids are outside playing do people sit and watch them, or get out there and play? Do you run along side of their bikes and sit at the little tables and draw, or push a doll carriage? Of all the things used to point out how lazy Kate is, this one always baffles me..that she sits in a chair and watches her children play. So?

I agree, if you look back at the episodes prior to the break up it was always Jon (at least on the show) who gave the baths, breakfast (because she isn't / wasn't an "early" person) got the older two on the bus (even when he was working I believe).

Can anyone forget the driveway playing of yesteryear and the plastic white chair Kate was always sitting on.

No, it was just because he wouldn't let them film on his property. I guess TLC didn't want to pay for 6 weeks of vacations.

Sorry, I'm on information overload. What is the hearing about on Monday?

The judge is going to verify that Jon and Kate have complied with his orders to return "all monies" to the bank account, and that Kate has provided the accounting details which she was supposed to provide to the arbitrator. It's possible that he may also rule on Jon's counter-claim. It's also possible they'll be sent directly to arbitration like they were last time.

And the hearing will be public ie. reporters and the public can sit in on the hearing.

Isn't that what she is supposed to do on Monday in court?

Pretty sure the judge specified by Oct. 26th.

I thought it said "by Oct 26" or something. Maybe she can take it with her Monday morning?? With the way Jon and his star legal team have been acting, I wouldn't give it to them today - they'll have the whole weekend to have it on every entertainment show that will talk to them.

You only have to look at the list of Kate's speaking engagements to see that. She was all over the country with the book promotions and speaking gigs.

Do you have that list available, when Jon wasn't with her? I thought it was just for a few months. I'm curious to see how much she was gone. However, that said, I doubt the court would say that just because Jon stayed home (or Kate) that would be reason to decide custody, since that may not be the case now, and it was an agreed thing..that daddy would stay home. No more than the mom would get custody because the dad traveled for work IMO.

What difference would it make? If Kate doesn't have her details to them on time, the judge is going to discuss them in open court :confused3 And IMO, it was Kate's lawyer that was giving interviews all over the place (Jon gave 1 interview and Heller made only 1 statement, and that was in response to Momjian's interview) -- Jon and his lawyer were busy dealing with the TLC lawsuit pretty soon after that.

And the details of the $55,000 were apparently supposed to be provided to Jon's team by today since that would determine how much Jon actually had to return to the bank account. All of the other accounting records were supposed to be submitted to the court by the 26th, and Kate may have already done that without making a public statement about it.

Jon paid the money back to the bank account -- Kate has yet to comply with the judge's orders:

"Mark Heller did not confirm whether Jon had returned the full amount of $180,000." Why is he making a statement? I thought the prior PA attorney was handling things for Jon again.

They worked out a deal with the arbitrator after the hearing with the judge where Jon was required to put a certain amount back (Mark Momjian said $180,000) less any amount that Kate couldn't account for, but according to Jon she had until today to provide them with those details.

But just to make it all more confusing, Mark Momjian is saying something different:
http://www.tmz.com/2009/10/23/jon-gosselin-kate-gosselin-the-checks-in-the-mail/

According to him, they will work out the details of the $55,000 that Kate removed from the bank account at a later date.

And I don't get why Mark Momjian can cancel the hearing on Monday unilaterally -- I would that would either have to be agreed upon by both parties, or the decision would have to come from the judge. :confused3

Perhaps the article means that Mr. Momjian is canceling the contempt motion that is part of the hearing.

Radar's version:

Momjian told RadarOnline.com: “Mr. Heller doesn’t represent Jon Gosselin in the divorce action in state of Pennsylvania so it’s a little puzzling to us why he’s making statements on a case he is not counsel of record on.

I find that puzzling as well. In fact, both lawyers need to conduct themselves like professionals and keep this in the court room.

It just dawned on me how RECENTLY Kate now takes the kids to the playground and plays w/ them in between complaining about the cold of course. :rolleyes1

I still never saw Kate give anyone a bath. The only thing I can remember is her doing the girls hair lol.

When my daughter was their age you bet your bippy I was out there playing, getting dirty, laughing etc. and I didn't need the cameras there. At least Jon was smart enough to act like a parent when the cameras were ON as opposed to Kate who could give a crap!

ITA, and I'm getting pretty tired of their digs at each other. No wonder Jon's other lawyer never makes any statements -- I wouldn't want to get into that either.

I have no idea if they went to the playground with Kate or Jon in the past. Someone posted here that they used to go to the playground. I thought it was hot when they showed the filmed playground, not cold.

My kids were outfront playing on all the nice days when I could watch them (in the fenced yard when I didn't). I'd either bring out a book, or visit with the other neighbors, or take turns with the neighbors while each of us did housework, while the other neighbor watched them. My kids played with their friends once they were the age K & J's were when out front, not me. K & J's had plenty of their siblings for playmates. Different strokes for different folks as far as playing with the kids. I just didn't have several hours a day to play with three kids. Not that I never played with them (board games, tea parties, school etc, inside) but when they were on their big wheels and bikes and playing imagination-made up games, and digging in teh sand pile, it was their friends they wanted to play with.
