Just a mom who looks fantastic!

I would think all of us would look fantastic too if we had People's hair and makeup staff.

We could all look fantastic if we only had "Kate's staff" to help us with everyday living. Can you imagine going through a divorce that involved 8 kids, possibly losing your income from your soon to be no more TV show and fighting the paparazzi constantly for photo ops, numerous interviews, watching your soon to be ex husband make a fool out of himself--and once again, Kate comes out on top!!!

There have been some beautiful pictures of Kate taken .. I don't believe the glamour shots one in People magazine is one of them.

Then she makes it an even bigger spectacle by getting on the bus herself!.

I do not fault her for staying, waiting for the bus to leave but how embarrassing for Madie & Cara to have mom get on the bus. Those girls are already going to have to deal with a lot of "talk" now that they are back to school. They were very lucky that all this hit the fan after school was out
but now with school back in...they are going to be dealing with a lot...

She also says Jon sold her out and was overtaken by aliens in her People article.

I may be remembering wrong, but I thought she said she hoped she would get a phone call saying that he's ok now, that he had been taken over by aliens. I took that to mean she wishes things were back where they were and it was all a dream. I totally missed the sold out part..I'll have to reread the People article. And no, I would never look as good as Kate even if someone did my hair. They would also have to exercise for me LOL!

I hardly think Kate has ever come out on the top. It doesn't matter what she does..she's always in the wrong. She's wrong for looking good and getting her hair/nails done, she's wrong for going ahead with her and the kids show, she's wrong for not telling us why she filed for divorce, she's wrong for telling us why she is upset with Jon and apparently she's even wrong for getting on the bus even though we have no idea why she did LOL.

Unless we are in her shoes, none of us (myself included) know how we would act, or what we would do. I have no idea what hurt either of them have gone through, I have no idea how either of them treated each other off camera, and I would like to think they would both do what is best for those kids. I hope there is more to Jon's behavior than what we get to see.

Maybe she went on to get a picture of them with the bus driver, or friends of the first day of school for her memory book. Maybe she forgot to give them lunch money. Maybe one of them started to cry. Who knows why she got on the bus, but I'm sure there will soon be a story about it..if not a real one, then a made up one on one of the other boards .

It doesn't matter what the reason Kate thought she had for going on the bus, I feel she should have respected the twins and not got on the bus. But then again, the twins mights have wanted her to come on the bus, but I doubt that.

She looks really pretty in the People picture. Te really big smile in the photo actually reminds me of how she looked when she married Jon. She had that same happiness and softness that I see in that photo.

That video is nuts. She totally avoids hugging Mady bye. WHY would she not be more conscious of what she is doing? The one woman with the dog looked like a "plant" to me! Why would Kate have been so uber focused on that one woman? Weird. My kids would have died if I had gotten on the bus with them in 3rd grade. She is something...I just can't figure out quite what.

If Kate had gotten on the bus here she would have been arrested!!!! Parents are NOT allowed to get on the bus no matter who they are or how special they think they are.

It looks like Kate looked at her phone and realized that maybe she should be taking a picture of her kids too. You can see her on the bus holding the phone up taking the picture. There was another mother on the bus as well.

I have never heard of bus stops being in parking lots though. Around here you either walk or drive your child to the bus stop on a particular street or they stop at every single house. And what's with Jon saying they were happy to be riding the bus? Didn't Mady and Cara always take the bus? Jon's job was to pick them up at the end of the driveway.

I thought the same thing about her taking the photos. I didn't think that woman looked like a "plant" She looked like a mom who didn't want the paps there and was outspoken about it. I think she was focused on her because the woman was a bit upset that the paps were there and I think Kate was apologizing to her.

I think this "bus in the parking lot" thing was because it is a private school. They probably have kids from all over instead of having regular bus routes so because they offer bus service, they use a parking lot and everyone drives there and drops their kids off. Some might drive 5 mins and some might drive 20 mins. If there would be the need for the service, they could have more than one meeting place for the different areas.

My kids also went to private school, and although it's been a lot of years, and things may have changed, we could get on the bus. In fact the mother's helping on certain days often took the bus in. I doubt it would have embarrassed my kids until jr high. And if it did..well, they would have gotten over it. I just don't see what the big deal is...especially not even knowing why she got on the bus. Maybe one of the kids tripped on the top step and Kate was making sure she wasn't bleeding. Who the heck knows.

from what limited understanding I have about their school situation .. the school is 30 minutes (maybe more?) away from their house. Several kids in the area go there, so there's a bus to pick them up.

On one hand, it's good they get to ride the bus, b/c it's normal. On the other hand lots of bad stuff can happen on buses even when you're not on TV. I don't think I could do it. Kate has a bodyguard to go to Starbucks, it doesn't feel quite safe to me to send the girls off alone on a bus. At least not from the world they have created for the kids.

That's exactly what I thought. I would be willing to bet that that is the real reason

If you listen closely you can hear Kate say let me take your picture...so that is the reason, I guess, that you got on the bus...I still stand by my comment that, at least my children, would be embarrassing.

After watching the bus video I have to say that I think Kate enjoyed the attention. The other parents didn't look amused, but why would she park so far away and make the girls walk across the parking lot. Where was her security? The paparazzi didn't bother Jon?? The kids are going into 3rd grade and my recollection of being picked up by the bus was it stopped and you got on and it drove off--parents don't normally hang at the bus stop. If Kate is so worried about protecting her kids, why would she subject them to the cameras. Why not just drive them right to school.
Remember, they chose this life for the kids. Nobody is forcing them to display their life to the whole world. They can end it anytime. So you really think the other students on that bus don't know what's happening at the Gosselin's house!!! You don't think Mady & Cara are questioned by other students??
