So its okay for Kate to give some um tearful interviews on the Early Show, Regis & Kelly, The View and Larry King, but if Jon gives an interview he's mentally ill?? Kate contradicts herself several times by saying she has no money but she's getting a new ring to I took some money too, but I put it back and I might of spent some on my $70,000 SUV but I can't remember, but Jon isn't entitled to any money??

Kate is ticked because Jon let the cat out of the bag. TLC was paying for a lot of their expenses and with the show suspended, no pay!! I find it hard to believe that a trained nurse would want to work at McDonald's to feed her kids--maybe she meant to say she wanted to buy McDonald's as an investment for her kids!!

I don't think Jon makes the best decisions, but I can do no wrong Kate is just to blame. They both are guilty of spending money foolishly. Is Kate still being protected by Steve?? Who is paying his salary if TLC isn't?? She is a reality tv person, A list stars travel around without a bodyguard. Those kids could defend themselves--hasn't anyone seen them beat each other up??

Bad Jon cut the ties with TLC and Kate plus 8 couldn't visit NY. Why should Kate have to pay for hotel, food and transportation like the rest of us?? She is a "movie star" at least she thinks she is one! Give me a break, this women has been scamming the system for 5 yrs now--enough is enough!!!

In regards to the ring, she just said she and the kids talked about it. She did not say she was going to buy it anytime soon. It did look bad for her to talk about it after saying she can't pay the bills but there's not wrong for her or anyone wanting something or talking about something they want to purchase
one day.

And A list stars do have bodyguards. If you look at pap pictures of Britney Spears, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, usually there is a bodyguard or nanny in the background. I saw a picture of Britney Spears' bodyguard carrying one her sons when they went to a Broadway show in New York recently. People don't notice them as they do Steve because its not rumored they are having affair.

There are ALOT of pictures of the Gosselins and very few comments, so I'm guessing not many people know about her FB account...which is weird, but she really must pretty close to the family, there is a whole album of pictures with her family and with them at the new house over Easter of this year. Also, no way Jon doesn't know her, there are a few pictures of her and Jon together. Kate and Jon look very relaxed with her too, like good friends. Which she likes to say alot. Pictures are marked "My BFF" picture with Kate. "My Dear Friends" picture with Jon and Kate. "My Close Friends the Gosselins." that kind of thing.

Yes we do know that he saw her before that day. She has pictures of herself and Jon together on her FB page. There are pictures of her children and the Gosselin kids hunting for Easter eggs together. I am not going by her just saying they are good friends, I'm going by the pictures of her, her family and the Gosselins on her FB page. She lives in Michigan (according to her FB page) so I doubt she is commuting as a nanny. I do believe they are friends, lots of photographic evidence.

Thanks for posting this. I had seen Monday's Insider first, and although I didn't mind NG tearing into him at the time (he agreed to be on the show, didn't he) I now realize that Friday's show disclosed a lot more because she does take up a lot of airtime for herself.

As for using the money that is in the trust for the kids, he said that 80 percent of all of their money was in that trust -- that's a bit much, even considering that they made the money from the show because the kids were on it. And IMO if they have to not work so much right now to get their kids through this horrible chapter, or only work part time until they're all in school full-time, I'd be ok with that. And if Jon had to pay for his own counseling bill, that means that they'd have to pay for their kids to go to. JMHO, but some things are more important than money.

But just to be clear, I'd only be ok with them using this money if they cut back on everything else including staff and traveling, liquidated excess assets (like the old house). They could certainly cut their costs a lot.

I thought 80% was just right. There's 10 people in the family so everyone gets 10%. I think their bills are going to increase instead of decrease. TLC helped with the expenses and now that the show is over, Jon and Kate will have to pay for everything.

I'm not the moderator on the Community Board.
I post on this thread on the Community Board, because I used to enjoy discussing the show.

I think everyone can give their opinion, but if guidelines to the DIS are going to be pushed on this thread, we are going to get shutdown.

Take a time out from this thread, if need be, but please stop attacking each other. Divorce is a very hot topic, no matter who gets divorced. I've seen many of threads get shut down over this topic. Can we try being kinder to each other, otherwise, put the person on ignore, and you won't see their posts.

I agree, Kate said "eventually" in regards to the ring, meaning at some point in the future. So much of what Kate says gets twisted to sound worse than it really does. And yes, that happens to Jon too.

Do you enjoy seeing Kate suffer? Yes or No. Would you be happy to see her back in the old house & broke? Yes or No.

Some friendly advice...just let it go.

It is so easy for them to attack a poster when it is 3 against one. They feel they have internet b*lls trust me they would never attack you like that to your face. Not even worth your time to reason with them. I 100% enjoy your post and your view points there are many people on this thread whose posts I enjoy reading. I appreciate all the leg work involved posting links ect.. I don't even bother looking at the other sites y'all are much faster.I just wanted to let you know you have people who appreciate your point of view . Just ignore the Ugly people on this thread

I would have thought 80 percent after the house and assets required to do the show would be sufficient, but then again I would expect them to get real jobs after the show is finished.

You're right about the expenses, especially assuming they will continue to have the same lifestyle. But they could still cut back a lot if they tried to live a more normal life.
