I don't know if it's the Dis per se, but I wonder if she has friends that texted her: OMG, the Internet's blowing up! Put the girls away! lol.

Although...based on what we've seen from the show, seems more likely that it was a publicist or agent or lawyer or something that texted her. Oh, well.

I didn't say that he had one. I have no idea if he did or if she did, or if neither did (although I'm not too fond of the pictures, the 2 am one or the video, if it was Jon in the video)...I said:


of course if Kate didn't have an affair and Jon did, and the only thing that Kate did wrong, was, well, being Kate, then I guess Jon would be a big part of the blame. But it will be a while to see how this will happen..if they will try to keep it quiet and just divorce.

Man! You all have been busy today! We went to the Tigers game and about melted it was so freakin' hot.

I think she has def. had the girls done. I think if her suit was a size bigger she would look great, but it is just too small. The top can't be comfy with it just hanging like that, not offering any support.

I've been thinking either financial because he's been looking at real estate in NYC or maybe he had one of his girlfriends spend the night in the house.

I had to respond to this, too. Sometimes I feel like between DH and I, he is "fun Daddy" and I am "mean Mommy" because I am the one who is always telling the kids what to do and he is the one who wants to have fun all the time. Maybe that's what she means.

Same here. I tell DH that I want to be the fun one sometimes too.

Did no one else catch that Kate said when she does the laundry. I thought I read she has someone who does her laundry.

In the old house she would put the laundry in and throw it in the dryer. Someone else would fold it and then someone else would put it away.

I was remarking over the LARGE picture someone posted. It was all b**bs.

I hope I didnt scare you by posting the large photo...of the girls. On Just Jared when you click on the photo it enlarges and thats where I got the url for the image. I didnt mean for it to be so big, and since its a URL I couldn't resize. However, it did show an up close view and gave others a better look so they could decide whether or not there was enhancement or not.

Step 1 is still a go! Hat wearing on day 2. Atleast she is consistant. I think this is part of the 12 step process I mentioned earlier.

Defend her from what? Why do I care if she is in her yard in a bikini. And maybe she sunburned her scalp. This is such petty garbage.

**And ladies, if you color your hair in any way shape or form you should wear a hat out in the sun to protect your hair. Especially if you visit a pool (Marge, did you hear me? Not sure if you color but you do go to the pool!!) So as ridiculous as you think kate looks in her hat, she is protecting her hair from the sun and pool.

I didn't interpret it that way. To me it sounded like she was just talking about how the kids love both her and Jon regardless of what's going on. From the People Mag. interview with Kate:

"They're just very resilient, adjustable kids. They're social and happy and so forgiving. I feel guilty because I look at them and I beat myself up because I don't have enough time in the day to give to them. But they love me, they love hugging me while I'm doing laundry. Jon's changed before their very eyes, but they love him, they just love him, because he's their Dad."

I don't think that's is what she means but if you asked her, I think she probably feels that way too. Seems to be a common thing for us moms!
I think her statement was more along the lines of the kids love us no matter what.

Reading that quote outside of the article itself, I can see what Kate is saying now. Combined with everything else, it just looked like another Kate praising herself moment. I see her saying here that they love her even though she feels she isn't spending enough time with them. And she sees Jon changing in front of them, but kids still love him, too.

She has also changed before their very eyes but is not mentioning that.

I like the part where she is saying that she when is away from the kids it's because of work and it's different then when Jon is away because it's not for work. Being away from the kids is being away from the kids regardless of what you are doing. The guy doens't HAVE a job to "escape" to so is he NEVER supposed to get away from the house and kids? Is she really that clueless??

If she was home day in and day out and Jon was traveling for days and day on end she cannot even tr to tell me she wouldn't try and get away when she could.

I totally agree. If you choose to do a job that takes you away from your kids, you still have to accept that it was a choice.

And I think it's funny (tragic) that she says Jon is confused ie. stupid to not want to continue on with the way things are. And, despite the fact that she says he doesn't want to be married to her anymore (sob), she also says that she wouldn't marry him the way he is now.

I don't know who is at fault in this divorce thing, but I just read the scanned People article and it really looks like Kate is pointing fingers. I'm sorry, but I just think it takes TWO to make a marriage work, and obviously, they have BOTH failed.

She stated that she felt like she had to file for divorce based on Jon's actions over the weekend (for the protection of her children). I wonder if it had anything to do with him handing out autographs at the gate to their driveway??? Just a thought. Let me know what you think...

Thanks for posting about that cover up. I have been looking for one, but no luck. It doesn't have to be exactly like it, but I do think it's really cute! The "shop button" near one of the pictures is linked to a super high priced beach cover up that doesn't look as cute. Darn.

Actually if I could ask Kate one question, I'd ask her if her reasons for continuing the show are financial now. If that's why she was promoting her book because she was thinking ahead due to Jon's behavior at home and all their fighting. Since they've been having problems for over 7 months now, I wonder if she pushed ahead to prepare for what 'might' happen.

Maybe (although it isn't really my business, but we are just pretending she would answer anything), do the kids have healthy bank accounts, so someday she can honestly say, I really thought I was doing the best for you kids, and here is a nice start in life for you.

Many people have commented that if we stop posting, and stop watching and stop checking the sites that this story will go away.

My question is, do you think that this story will somewhat die given today's events (Michael Jackson's death) and a new tabloid cover story for the next few weeks?

I mean in three or four weeks (or however long this will be cover worthy news) I wonder if the tabloids will just pick up where they have left off with Jon and Kate or will they have found something new?

Just a question.....

(Actually, I am one who is for the kids, and this may be a blessing in disguise. I never wish ill on anyone, but given that the tabloids will follow the MJ story for the next few weeks, it might give the Gosselins a "break" and perhaps they will rethink their fame. Just a thought...)
