Good post! I was thinking the same things. I can't tell you the number of times a day I give the "right" answer to one the kids 15 million questions and thirty seconds later I can't even remember what they asked.
I'm also not buying the poor kids are working. The kids, especially Maddy and Cara, are old enough to understand that if they weren't on TV they wouldn't get to do as much stuff. My 6-year old wants to know why we can't be on TV. I didn't think the TLC thing was that bad for the kids, now the media circus that Jon's behavior has brought on is another thing.
Kate should try to break the Starbuck's addiction. I think she is using it was food replacement. On second thought, maybe I should try it.
Some things are more important than 'stuff'. Stuff does not buy happiness as has been painfully demonstrated beyond any reasonable doubt. Parents should not live off money their children make for them.
