That story about your son is cute.
I had a similar experience yesterday. (not really, LOL) Was returning something to Old navy with DD and forgot tocheck the car locks until I was too far from the car so I handed the keys to DD (15) and asked her to go make sure it was locked. She walked and walked and I thought she was going to go all the way back up to the car so I yelled, "Just stop and do it from there!" And she did and turned around and "OK, Kate."
Uh, yeah, I seem to have a Kate moment like that every day...hmm.
If any little kid runs up to me and comments like that I may *thud smilie inserted here*![]()
Thanks! It had me cracking up this morning!
I think we all have "Kate" moments - some of us just more than others! I'd gladly take the spotlight off Kate if she'd like to share. I'm not the nicest person in the world all the time and I could use a free trip to Disney!

How cute!
I believe they were already filming for season 5 when the season 4 finale ended? Madge would know.![]()
Thank you!

I thought the same - madge will know!

Was this the first time J&K had a child sit between them OR do they do that often?
I was concerned about no helmuts on the kiddos while riding their bikes or on that motorized bike Cara was driving around.
Why did Jon pick the week of Kate's bday to go to Utah?![]()
They occassionaly have a child do the "interview" with them but IMO it's few and few between.
I said the same about the helmet in the little cart thing. DH and I actually "discussed" that because he said he wouldn't make them wear a helmet either.

No one really knows why Jon was gone that week....it's speculated that he was out of town because it's Kate's birthday and he didn't want to be around. No one really knows.
That's exactly how I feel! I can't help but watch...
Me too!
I'm not a genius when it comes to math, but something doesn't add up right. If the show is celebrating it's 100the episode next week in only a few seasons, how many hours have the children been in front of the camera. Didn't TLC say they only shoot 2 days a week? It just doesn't seem right to me.![]()
I thought I heard on the "viewers questions answered" (I think that was the name of it) that it "adveraged" (that was Kate's word) to 2-3 hours a day two or three days a week. Now they don't film "year 'round" so I'm guessing the filming weeks are more than just two or three hours a day. It's a lot of work to get all of those people in one place at one time (crew) so I'm guessing they're going to do as much as they can in a day. Just an example, they filmed the entire way to Disney (or at various parts on the drive down) and that was more than a couple of hours. I'm sure they spent more than a couple of hours actually in the parks at Disney so that was probably a "long" day for them filming.
But then the world would be a very boring place if we all held the same points of view!![]()
So very true!
