All of this cheating garbage aside, I really hope J&K spend more time with their kids. I know, I know, we don't actually know for sure how much time they spend with them but from recent schedules and such, it seems J&K aren't around as much as they used to be.

The tups are 5 and the twins are 8. We all know how quickly our own kids grow up. Just today, I was with my 3 girls and they were running around playing tag, hopscotch and skipping down the driveway. I stopped what I was doing to just watch and enjoy them. They're only 6, 7 and 9 years old but I remember just like it was yesterday when they were babies and toddlers. J&K will miss out on their kids if they're constantly running around to tape their show, promote their books and so on. If they blink, they just might miss it all! Look how big the tups look already. Ok, I'm done rambling and being sentimental!

Totally agree. My "baby" turned 9 this week and it hit me hard. Wasn't it just yesterday her big brother would get jealous when dad would hold her? Now I can't even pick either one of them up!!

When TLC offered Kevin & Jodi money to film at their house and Kate said "no way," Kevin went over to Kate's house and there was a confrontation about it. (This is according to Kevin himself.) If they were so concerned about the kids being harmed by a reality show, why did he stomp over there all in a huff about Kate standing in the way of them getting paid?

I think it's all about money, money, money for EVERYONE. Jon, Kate, Kevin, Jodi, TLC. Otherwise I can't imagine why any of them are doing what they're doing. It's making them all into laughingstocks.

As for the Kevin and Jodi thing, we'll never know all of the details or what was told to who by whom. I'd be upset if TLC was making promises (especially if they're going to the trouble to put up lightening in their house!) and somehow the deal fell through. Do I think Kevin and Jodi should have been compensated? Everyone else they come in contact with on the show is in one way or another (free trips, clothes, ect) so why shouldn't family be as well? It seems you would want to take care of them first.

Do I think money's a big part of this family's equation right now? Certainly. Kate's brought that up herself in interviews that she "needs" to keep doing this to pay the two mortgages, ect.

You know, when the first video came out I thought it was going to be a good thing, if it is true what they claim, because then people would know the truth.

I don't think Jodi and Kevin expected the video to come out in several different pieces and who are we to know what "order" the original video is actually in?? Things could be cut and edited to make things more "interesting" to say the least. It could have been a simple sit down, they answered questions as honestly as they could (who knows what questions were asked) and comments were taken and mixed around. Now I haven't watched the latest video yet so I don't know how bad that one is. It's just something that's in the back of my mind while I'm reading/listening to everything. Unless you were there to here how things actually played out, it's hard to know how badly words and things are twisted (not saying they are every time, but each magazine/website is trying to "scoop" the others so they're going to try and make their story the best).

If so, it's a lot of the same stuff just repeated again. The only thing I noticed that was different was like the last 5 seconds with Jodi talking about how it's a "train wreck for all to see" and it's "not reality and hasn't been for a long time". Other than that, it's the same old Jon has a contract to show up for filming and can live seperate lives.

This has gotten really ridiculous! Last night on E! News, they had Ken Baker out in front of their old house reporting. He said that the neighbors were telling him that Kate hadn't been seen for a long time before they left. They only saw Jon and the kids at the house. He also said that Kevin and Jodi only lived 3 doors down from Jon and Kate and when he knocked on their door, they didn't answer. I had never heard they lived that close. I don't blame them for not answering the door, I wouldn't answer either!

Okay, how bad is it that I read the name Angela Krall and recognized it as the nurse who was paid by Medicaid to care for the babies for a year after their birth, who was mentioned in the articles about Kate fighting for an extension of Medicaid benefits because society owed it to them? This was before I read the rest of the article identifying who she was. I know way too much about this show

IMO, the Gosselins had more kids than they could afford (kind of like the octuplet mom in California). They needed volunteer helpers, donations, government assistance, etc. to get through the early years. Their choices since then, good and bad, have been driven by that. JMO.

Money is the root of all evil.....boy this sure rings true in this situation huh? I hate to mention religion but there things about money in the bible too.

Greed to me is like a disease and too many people get hurt with it.

I really honestly feel that if I came into a big sum of money I would hold on to my morals and strive to be an even better example then others who think money brings power.

Although I think I would take a nice trip to the World.

I totally agree, I could care less what those 2 do but they have a family that deserves consideration. J&K really need to get their heads out of their butts and work this mess out together, not running to People Magazine or Kevin & Jodi instead.

I wonder too if they were able to actually afford all those kids. I'm so naive that I've thought Jodi was all sweetness! Actually, watching them again, particulary the last segment of the videos, it sounded more like they were angry and this opportunity for revenge was a little too good to pass up. Honestly, Kevin was irritated because he said Kate was not this great cook, who cares? That's where it started to really sound vindictive a bit. Who knows though, maybe it is all true. I just know that if that were my brother, I'd be pounding on his door to let him have it if he did that to me publicly. Geez, do any of them understand the word privacy?? Why didn't they have a problem when they were on the show? It's just a little suspect that while they were on, they had no problem with their neice and nephews being on the show.

I still think the show should be pulled so that 1. J&K can figure their marriage out and 2. the kids can have a more normal childhood instead of dealing with cameras and paparazzi. Money isn't everything and fame and fortune seem to come at a high price in my opinion.

I just know that if that were my brother, I'd be pounding on his door to let him have it if he did that to me publicly. Geez, do any of them understand the word privacy?? Why didn't they have a problem when they were on the show? It's just a little suspect that while they were on, they had no problem with their neice and nephews being on the show.

I still think the show should be pulled so that 1. J&K can figure their marriage out and 2. the kids can have a more normal childhood instead of dealing with cameras and paparazzi. Money isn't everything and fame and fortune seem to come at a high price in my opinion.

I would like to think that my family would be there to stand up for me but honestly (I so hate saying this) but I could see my brother selling something to a tabloid for the money (granted we haven't spoken since I moved out after I graduated (the moving boxes as a graduation gift were a suttle hint that I took ). It would certainly not be the truth but would add fuel to to the fire and sell those magazines. Like I said, I would hope my family would never do anything like that but I could see my brother doing something like that.

Even if they really, honestly "need" to do the show, cut back the number of episodes per season. Don't you think supply and demand comes into play here? Don't put yourself out there as much and people are willing to pay more to see you (I'm thinking in the eyes of TLC for like advertisers and such). That way more people would tune in to the episodes of J&K+8 knowing it might be a week or two before you see them again. Just a thought if they really "need" to continue the show for financial reasons.

Mojo is pretty straight forward, I would be surprised if he made it up. I hope it's not true though!

Isn't Mojo from Channel 95.5? The average listener from that station isn't exactly the type to be watching Jon and Kate. They are mostly teens and young adults. They are much more the MTV crowd rather than the TLC crowd. I don't see Mojo saying something like that unless it were true because, frankly, most of his listeners probably don't care what Jon and Kate do. Why would he even bring them up if he hadn't really witnessed it?

I can't help but have this nagging feeling that all of this is made up by Jon and Kate to promote themselves, to draw attention to the 5th season, to earn more money for the new book or movie deal.
We all know the 6 kids are getting older and will start school soon. Filming will be more difficult as the kids are in school all day and as they get older , I can only assume people will lose interest in the kids....so the gravy train runs dry.
I think all the rumors of affairs are just for the last few $$bucks$$ that the family can suck in.

I totally agree!...Iam actually really really shocked by Jodi and Kevin......I can't imagine my relationship with my sister breaking down soooooo much that I would publically try to destroy her.

If this is all just a publicity stunt, then I think that makes their actions even worse somehow. It isn't just J & K who have been affected, it's six young children who are living with the consequences of all of the publicity over the last few months. It's easy to get wrapped up in all the latest gossip about who is fooling around with who, but this isn't a soap opera where there are actors involved.

Whether their problems are real or just rumor, they should be putting their kids first. It's obvious the show has been a cash cow for the family. I think its time to step aside and focus on their children's emotional well being which is just as important as their physical well being.

I think the biggest problem I have with Kate is that it appears she is forgetting about what is in her children's best interest all for the sake of the spotlight. At this point, they should be well beyond the point where they are doing the show to "support" the family. That goal should have already been accomplished. Now it is more about Kate's ego and her getting any and all the attention that she can. Without the kids, there would be no show, books, or media attention. I just wish she would stop using her children to attain celebrity status and get rich. They are the ones who are truly suffering right now!!

Exactly!!....Whatever Kate has supposedly "done" to Kevin, it doesn't even compare to the hateful way he is trying to publically humiliate and disgrace her. Even if they privatly can't stand her...don't try and turn the whole USA against your sis...wrong on so many levels....I'll bet that Jodi is the drving force in this vendetta...she likes to think of herself as the perfect little "homemaker"...she knows how to really hurt a mother...put down her mothering skills to the whole world just when kate is at her lowest!

I wonder if anyone would feel any different if it's TLC that is making this a publicity stunt, and not J & K.

I did see the ad for the upcoming show, in the museum, and the kids look so darn cute. How much they have grown since we have seen them on TV last.


I have no idea if they are past supporting the kids with the expensive purchase of the new house (which I love, I felt crowded just watching them in the old house). I assume their investments have gone south the way most people's have, and I can't imagine feeding 8 kids and 2 adults, let alone, sending 8 kids to college on a nurses salary, assuming Jon isn't that employable (should be about a mil and a half or more by the time they are old enough..unless there is money in the kitty that was donated and the kids want to go to that school, and it offers what they want to take) so even if we don't agree if they should continue, that may be on their minds. I can't imagine that this show will even continue to grab interest much longer, so they may think they need to grab what they can while the 15 min of fame is still there. I have no idea if this is harmful to the kids, (yes, I know some of you are very well versed in what harms kids, I'm not, heck, I spanked mine years ago, when the saying was spare the rod, spoil the child, and I let them watch all sorts of TV, and play out front in the road, without me watching them. I even made them eat their vegetables) or if they have been able to explain on their level why they have all the attention.

I plan on continuing to watch the show (walking away when it gets too noisy for me LOL) and for those who think this is ruining the kids for lives, the best way to stop it, is for those people to stop watching. If enough don't watch, it will die.

There no way this a publicity stunt. How would that explain Kevin and Jodi getting involved?.....To be honest if there no revelations from Kevin and Jodi then I might think it was all just media hype...but They've confirmed to me that there are indeed marital problems....even affairs on both sides...(i really hate to think Kevin would portray his sis as a cheater unless it was true..which is bad enough)

I don't think Kevin and Jodi want to promote season 5...or give Jon and kate more ways to cash in...they have an agenda...but its not that.
