TLC and Comcast both say
After several days of travel, the Gosselins arrive in Hawaii and learn about Hawaiian culture through private lei making and hula lessons, Hawaiian cooking classes, snorkeling in the Pacific Ocean and participating in a traditional Grand Luau.

ETA: you can't seriously believe that Kate writes the synopsis for all the listings do you?

The episode write up on Comcast says the following:

"The family finally arrive in Hawaii after several long days of traveling."

huh, :confused3 several long days, they vacationed for 5 days at a luxury resort in San Diego wth is that about wonder if Kate wrote the episode synopsis

You know...one day of traveling with 8 kids would be enough for me, especially if 6 of them were 4 years old!!

You might want to find out who was using your account then

uh, no. I'm a little smarter than that. LOL.

You aren't the one who said it

sorry, blonde moment lol

by the way, where are the rest of the people in the restaurant

and I love kate's comment something like "we went to our rooms"

they dont have rooms the have what is obviously a suite, I would know since since I have stayed at the same hotel in a similar suite

I have to be honest, this family is going to have a huge reality check once their 5 minutes of fame is over Cara, and more so Maddy are obviously having behavioral issues Maddy is really acting out, and I am not sure removing her from the other kids is the best thing (even look at the promo pic in the magazines for this episode, Maddy had a very disconected look form the rest of the family)

And the style of life, and the treatment they are receiving---that of celebs, and the well to do it is going to be very difficult for this family to check back into reality I think they are getting all the perks and freebies now, and I hope some monetary compensation they better save up cause this family is going to come to a halt when this show is over they will be no more than a "where are they now' spread in People magazine in 10 years

on an upbeat note---the kids are getting awfully cute

my DH is watching football, so I'm taping the show to watch later ... but, we did catch it long enough for my DH (who doesn't even know anything about the show) to hear Kate say that about the rooms. He casually mentioned that someone should tell that lady she's in a fancy suite, not a room. LOLOL

DOes anyone know where i can find the pic. of their new home. I have a friend who wanted to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far tonight's show is one of my favorites! It looks like they had a wonderful time. Love this show.

She may be a little haughty, but what pretentious idiot actually says "Ok, let's go back to our suite." Rather than get multiple rooms when we have the whole fam, we usually get a suite, but we still say "back to the room," or "up to the room," etc.

Besides, if she said "suite" over and over, she'd be accused of rubbing it in everyone's face.

Did anyone else keep thinking of the Poly? I had to fight not to call and change our reservation for next month!

Gorgeous, gorgeous episode!! The girls look like little Hawaiian babies! I'm half Polynesian, and my dad's family is from Hawaii, and the kids fit in perfectly!! So, so, so cute!! And I never gush about the cuteness of the kids, either. :rotfl: :goodvibes

Hmmm...wonder if we can tack on a Hawaii week after our San Diego vaca next summer. :cloud9:

I personally would have been annoyed if they would have said "suite" over and over. It sounds like bragging and is very tacky. I think it was polite for them to say "room.'

I agree with some of the previous posters - when we have had a suite I don't think I ever said "Let's go back to the suite" It was always - back to the room.

How cool was it to be swimming with the sea turtles?! I'm glad Maddy got in the water. It would have been a shame to miss all the awesome sea life.

I feel so worried for Mady. I wonder how much of "the show is our life, our life is the show" has shaped who she is. Would she be as difficult and tormented even if they were a "normal" family?
