Jolly Roger ??

We just booked the Jolly Roger, anyone stayed there recently?

My parents stayed there many many years ago(about 10) and thought it was just fine. They didn't spend much time in their room but found it adequate for what they needed. They recommended it to us for our trip but they don't offer breakfast or have fridges in the rooms so therefore we chose to pay a little more and stay closer at the Park Vue Inn. The Jolly Roger does have good rates though. Have a great time!!

I was there for the Expo in 09 and booked there again this year..it is old and the outside shows.. the rooms had been redone, and were pretty nice. No breakfast, but super close to Convention Center and about 20 minutes from the parks. One bit of advice..don't have the front desk call a cab for you..it isn't metered. I wouldn't cancel! I had no problems at all.

Just wanted to give this a bump. Was curious as to what others had to say about the Jolly Roger. Thinking of maybe staying here for me trip, it beats having to cancel it. How far of a walk is it? We stayed at Candy Cane Inn one time, so wasn't sure in comparsion to that. Do they have a shuttle to the parks? Thanks in advance.

I didn't see anything about a shuttle there. It isn't far from th Candy Cane..across the street right past CC, turn right and down you go a bit. Total time walking...even after a floofy drink at RFC..20 minutes. There is an IHOP we had breakfast at across the street at Harbor..the most expensive IHOP in the world, I'm sure.

I am guessing that the rooms are ok since you have decided to stay there again this year? I remember reading that you said not to have them call you a taxi, how would you get a taxi to the parks if you didn't feel like walking, also how much do you think it would be? Thank You.
