Joining a FD and RO reservation?

We have booked a vacation this September with the FD at the WL. With Air Tran's great deals today, we booked our airfare and are coming in a day early. We found a great rate for the WL through Travelocity. If we book this way, what are the chances they will allow us to link the 2 reservations, so we don't have to change rooms at the WL? Has anyone experienced this?

Both rooms would have to be in the same room category/view in order to be linked. Even then, there is no way to guarantee that you will be able to stay in the same room.
