Join on cruise or get a referral??

DH and I are seriously thinking of buying a contract. Just wondering which way would get us the better incentives. Joining while on our upcoming cruise or getting a referral from someone.

Can anyone help with this?

We joined while on the cruise, and had a referral. That way we could get the best offer. Anyone on these boards would be willing to be a referral for you. Sometimes the offers are only good if you have a referral. The current offers can be found in another post on the boards. I hear they are changing on 3/22/09 so if you want the current ones, buy now with the referral. If you want to wait and see, wait for your cruise. I hope this helps.

You mean 3/28/09. It seems like usually the cruise incentives are whatever the current incentives are for everyone, plus an onboard credit to use on the current cruise. (So buy early in the cruise so you can use up that credit!) Also, when they gave developer points, if you joined on the cruise you could use them on a cruise, but if not, you could not.
