Johnny Depp looked great, he also has alot of class. The morning show hosts were making comments this morning of how good he looked and young, like his 21 Jump Street days. Sorry he lost, , but he was very gracious about it.
I totally agree!! I thought he looked just like he did back on 21 jumpstreet. It was almost shocking how young he looked based on recent photos I have seen of him.
I have become a huge fan of Johnny's since POTC and rooted for him to be the one big surprise win at the Academy Awards -- I like the more "mature" Johnny who is over 40 but after seeing him last night, he doesn't look a day over 30. During an interview with Inside the Actors Studio he confessed to liking to "hide" behind his hair. I could do without the bangs in the eyes, but he still looks mighty fine.
Add me to the list of the people who think he looked great last night! I know he got on the worst dressed lists from the Golden Globes, but I thought he cleaned up well last night (although I'm still partial the long haired captain Jack look). I wanted him to win so bad, I stayed awake to watch.
I thought he looked great too, and I'm not usually a big fan though I LOVED him in POTC! I'm sorry he didn't win, but was happy to see Sean Penn get some recognition. (and happy his acceptance speech was fairly gracious )
He looked great! I agree about him looking much younger than his age. It's hard to believe he is 40. My teenage niece and her friends all have crushes on him and they are 12.
Okay, as I am reading this thread, my DS (age 6) comes up to me, so I show him Tinkbells' photos and ask, "Do you know what actor this is? What movie was he in?" He replied, "The Haunted Mask?" I said , "That's Jack Sparrow!" He replied, "yeah, right!"
I thought he looked adorable, and his shy way just kills me!! Yep, hard to believe he's closer to my age and not my child's age, he looks like a teenager sometimes. What a face!
