Anyone know where I can find the recipe for Liberty Taverns Johnny Appleseed's Cake?

Ate there Saturday Night and it was WONDERFUL!!! The all you can eat is really a good deal for the money (we were not on dining plan) if you are hungry. Ate there the last three times we have visited and always left satisfied and happy with the food and service.

no recipe here sorry, but can you verify if the meat was Pork loin or Ham??

They actually had three meats for the all you can eat. Pork, beef and turkey. The turkey was out of this world - very, very moist. The pork was actually my least favorite of the three. Kind of dry but could have just been that day. You can ask for more of any of the three or all three if you like them. They will bring you all you want.

Anyone else know where I might can find the recipe or atleast one similar?

Thanks

I've heard you can email the restaurant and they will send them to you. I'm not sure how to get the email address, hopefully someone else can answer that. You can ask for any recipe while you are there..not sure if you didn't do or just didn't think of it at the time...but for the future :)

I can ask for the recipe and post it here when we get back?? We are going in April. I heard it is a new dessert and some like it and some don't. I hope we like it :lmao: Thanks for the info on the meats. When we ate there last in 99 it was Ham on the dinner menu. Ham, flank steak, and turkey. Not a fan of Pork loin, so we'll stick to the other 2.

Yes, we ate there in May and had the ham. I think they changed over sometime in the fall. The pork loin was good but I love ham so I missed that. Everything else was great though!

I don't have your recipe, but I have lurked on the cooking board. Here is some of the info I bookmarked.

Email address for requesting recipes from Guest Relations:
wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

A tip from Tatania, who has received & posted many, many of our recipes recommends that you include the following information if you have it:
- the name of the restaurant
- the date of your visit
- your reservation number

also recommended as an email address https://secure.disney.go.com/wdw/contact/contactUs

If you want to check out the thread it is on the The DIS Discussion Forums - DISboards.com > Just for Fun > The Creative Community > Cooking

at thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1777635.

This was actually the first place that brought me to the Disboards...following the trail of a recipe:lmao:

If you do manage to get the recipe, I am positive the rest of the gang over there would like to have it too!

Thanks, DixieBelle!! Go Pirates!!! :cheer2:You are in the same part of NC as I am. I'll use your suggestions and if I find the recipe will absolutely post on the page you referenced! Great page by the way - love all the recipes.
