I didn't see John do the CP (though I wish I had!), but was wondering if anyone here who did could possibly help me out. I realize it's a lot to ask, but if anyone here saw him and happened to videotape it, could you please let me know? PM me or e-mail (my address might be in my profile, I forgot, if not PM is fine). If any kind person here who saw him and has a video could do this, I'd really appreciate it. Please let me know. Does anyone have pictures of him doing it? Thanks!

We thought he was terrific. Very natural and we could really tell he loved being there. Sorry, we didn't video it.

He bought it a few years ago. He's bought various other Disney props and memorabilia also, like ride vehicle cars etc...

I saw a post on another board that he was drunk when he did CP this year.

I saw the 8:15 show last night (Christmas night) and he was definitely ecstatic to be there! However, he did mess up the narration. A guy in a suit came out during a song and he and John were flipping through the pages of the narration. Apparently, John just recited the wrong paragraph, and therefore recited it again after the song finished, before the next one. He also stumbled on words or mispronounced them, but because he was so enthuastic to be there, it didn't phase me as much as it would have if someone else did that. All in all, I am glad I saw him...I saw the 8:15 Christmas Eve show with Jim Caviezel (his last one) the night before, and to me it will be pretty hard to top that! Happy Holidays!

So are the reports true that he was/may have been drunk, or is he just so stupid he couldnt recall reading something he read a few minutes ago???
If he is a "professional" actor(which is very debateable IMHO)then one shoudnt be repeating lines he had just read or so excitable that he cant do his job in a professional/calm manner.

I think the thing was that since the narration follows the song that comes after, the guy who came out in the suit wanted John to go back on the proper track so he didn't mess up the rest of the show. Therefore, I believe he told John to recite the paragraph again so it fit in with the show and so John wouldn't be a paragraph ahead for the rest of the performance (which would have been quite horrific, so it is good they stopped it when they noticed John was doing it wrong).
