John Mayer Concert

Last night, I went to the John Mayer concert in Knoxville, and let me say, it was awesome. It was the first concert I'd ever been to, and I absolutely loved it. We didn't have the best seats, but it was a fairly small area, so we could see pretty well. It was amazing. We had so much fun; it was my parents, me, and my sister. I didn't stop grinning the whole time, and I've been listening to nothing but his cds since then.

i've seen the goo goo dolls twice, counting crows once, augustana once (they were all touring together), bon jovi once, BoDeans once, Barenaked ladies once.


but like four of them were at the same concert. it was like this miller 150th celebration thing and we got really super good seats. it was pretty awesomeee.


and ehh john mayer isn't my favorite person, or the best singer, but i love his lyrics.

and i'm super glad you had a really good time.

Now see, those concerts sound like a LOT of fun, especially Bon Jovi and Augustana.

The concert last night wasn't really in the best setting, but it was just so cool to be there...

I'm so jealous.
I love John Mayer. I'd give my leg to see him. He's my favorite SINGER.

I've been to Simple Plan ft. Hedley. It was good, but I had to have upper bowl seats because I'm too short to have floor seats. Also, I wouldn't have anywhere to put my coat. I loved it, it was fun. I don't like SP anymore, but I still like Hedley.

I've been to Rex Goudie & Melissa O'Neil. I had front row seats because I won the contest on the radio, they were the best seats. It sucked though because unlike SP, they had seats, but everybody decided even though they arne't supposed to, to stand up at the gate. And I couldn't see, and It sucked. It was annoying too, because I wanted to see him play because I actually like his music. More than half the girls there were under 13, screaming OMG!! YOU'RE HOT! and he was singing a song about his deceased grandfather (my favorite song, I love it so much).

I'm hoping to see him again next month, it depends on how my mother is feeling today.

And on June 2nd I will be attending the Honda Civic tour w/ Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is, Cobra Starship, +44 and others (the lineup isn't completely set yet). My 2 friends and I have decided to go. I got a code to buy advance tickets and I am taking full advantage of it..

I love John Mayer's new CD. I like his others as well, just not as much as Continuum. His blogs are always fun to read, too.
