John Kerry On Orange Alert!!

Since they don't want the the hall where the debate is to be too warm, and since he seems to prefer orange, perhaps he has a doppleganger:

...and for the record, physical appearance that can't be helped (i.e. big nose, big ears) is one thing. Doing something incredibly stupid like trying to get a fake tan because your either vain, or hoping it will make you look good on TV, is another.

If I turned myself orange I would expect to be made fun of when I went into work the next day.

Awww come on guys. I think he's just getting in the Halloween spirit. Rather than pumpkin orange maybe he should've gone for mustard yellow to match his wife, ketchup.

I'm sorry, perhaps you would be so kind as to point out the threads about Bush's appearance? Yes, there have been posts, but how many entire threads? The OP of this thread on her own has started more threads about Kerry's appearance than all the other posters put together. And in case you did not notice I did not jump to Kerry's defense, I was commenting on the shallowness of this thread. Period.

Holy Cow. Hope the stage lights and nerves at the debate don't cause him to heat up and drip it off. How bad would that look for a presidential candidate to look like a Gatorade commercial!

There's a button at the top that says search. Think of some good key words, enter them, and have fun searching. BTW, I said "posts" bashing Bush's apperance, not "thread". "I'm sorry" you missed that bit.

In reference to my other post, I would agree with you if it were physical appearance that can't be helped. In this case Kerry did something incredibly stupid, two days before he has to be seen by a National TV audience. He let his vanity override his common sense. If Bush did the same thing I would consider him just as big a knucklehead.

Again, this demostrates the lefts inability to laugh at itself. Bush looks like a regular guy and I haven't noticed an appearance altering procedures; botox, cosmetic dentistry and now Orange Glo, that Kerry seems to embrace. However, the left seems to delight in questioning President Bush's IQ and his speech patterns. There has been no shortage of that! And while you may feel my concerns are "superficial", his dayglo appearance has not eluded any of the networks, including cable. Again, it points out a candidate who wishes again, to be something that he is not. In this case, TAN!

I respectfully disagree with the first sentence here...too broad. This liberal girl laughed her butt off at the photo and thinks Kerry's constant attepts to "enhance" (notice I said "attempts", he's yet to be successful) his appearance are foolish. I understand that in this television age you must look the part, but good Lord man! So, to say that "the left" is unable to laugh at iself...not this lefty.

As for your comment about his "dayglo appearance"....too funny!!! Thank you for my early morning laugh!

My laughing has absolutely nothing to do with politics and everything to do with fashion. I'd crack up at a postal carrier, movie star, or sales clerk who turned themselves orange too.

Let's hope he doesn't decide to highlight the hair or get a perm today! (Remember the Frazier episode where the dad colored his hair for the party and it kept rubbing off everytime he sat down and put his head against the chair!!)

And I would suggest it shows your pathetic determination to take any shot no matter how cheap. And why wouldn't you? Any comparison of IQ would leave your candidate in the dust.
