I have been jogging in the mornings as a part of my fitness routine and would like to continue it during my upcoming stay at SSR. I was on Google Maps plotting potential jogging routes through and around SSR and I thought it would be neat to jog through DTD and Pleasure Island. It would be early in the mornings (5-6ish) before that area opened. Has anyone done this? Is it allowed?

Thanks.

I have jogged/walked from SSR through DTD/Please Island/West Side and back without anyone saying anything multiple times.

I've done this for years, starting at OKW, along the path past SSR and into DTD. Early morning I might see some CMs hosing down the streets. I smile and wave and they say good morning. Never had an issue.

There are no gates or anything that close overnight at DTD so have at it! Hopefully no one will give you a hard time for keeping up with training! Also, there is a great path going over to the treehouse villas which is nice and shaded as well.

I even did it when we stayed at Doubletree Guests Suites at the DTD hotels. I wasn't even running, just walking. My husband does it every time we stay at SSR or OKW. You just want to do it early in the morning, not once the stores are open.

Just stay off the golf course.

Stayed at SSR Congress Park last Dec. and went running in the mornings from my bldg to and through DTD and around Cirque de Soleil and back to my bldg. As someone else posted, CMs are hosing down the walkways and do smile as you keep going. The hardest part is trying not to slip on the watery walkways. Also, that early in the morning you get to see the Brits getting to check their bags in at Cirque de Soleil for their Virgin America flight back across the pond. It's a nice scenic run that you just don't get to do everyday back home. Pretty Rad !!! I'm staying at Kidani this December and NO jogging paths...Not Cool !!! Have to use the treadmill. Blah !!!
