jogging stroller question

i seem to recall in a previous post (many months ago,) people were going on about the usual rants concerning strollers and what they would do to the drivers if they (the victims) weren't so polite. someone made the comment that people often bring jogging strollers to wdw, even thought they "aren't supposed to."

my question is: is this a factual statement? we have been many times to wdw, and i don't recall ever reading- or hearing- that jogging strollers are not welcomed in wdw. sure, they are more cumbersome and unwieldy. they are harder to control; but, is it an official policy to request they not be on property?

We have taken one in the past and haven't had any problem with it. I don't think I would do it all the time but that was the one in the car that day. I think the ones that disney rents are actually bigger than our jogging stroller so size probably isn't the issue.

I also thought that the ones in MGM were the jogging style and not the hard plastic ones.
