Can you use a jogging stroller in the WDW parks?
Have disabled child who has both a wheelchair and a special needs jogging stroller. Wheelchair has no canopy and child hates hats.... plus wheelchair can get very uncomfortable after several hours in it for her!
Would like to use jogging strooler except it has a fixed wheel and is an inch or two longer than normal strollers.
What can I do?

we saw plenty of jogging strollers in the park last week, all shapes and sizes. If it was a rule in the past, it's not being enforced anymore.

You can also go to Guest Services and get a pass so that your stroller will be treated as a wheelchair (ie you can take it into shows etc), which might be useful

I responded to your thread on the disABILITIES Board, but just wanted to agree with bev. It seems it was a rule in about August of 2002, but I don't know if it caused too much trouble or what, but they have not apparently been enforcing it.
The jogging strollers with a set of small swivel wheels on the front are not a probelm at WDW and were never forbidden. The ones that were a problem are the big front wheel ones. They are not well suited for travel where you need to change direction quickly and often, and people can more easily get run into by the large tires.
