I know things like this are open to interpretation so to speak, but asking anyway. This will be my first trip to Disney since the coffee has changed from Nescafe to Joffrey's. I didn't think much of the Nescafe (but it served its purpose) I had the coffee cause I needed one lol Do you think i'll be able to enjoy the coffee as well this time? Is there a big difference or is it basically the same with a different name? I haven't had Joffrey's yet.

It's a big difference from Nescafé. While joffreys isn't my favorite brand it Actually has..... Wait for it....real coffee flavor! Lol

Just over a month to go! Very excited to be trying the coffee. I enjoy my morning walk with my refillable mug and to have it filled with actual coffee is really exciting.

It isn't the best but MUCH better than Nescafe. Joffrey's has been served inside the parks at select stands for awhile now. I used to on occasion skip the refillable mug coffee at the hotel and get one of those once we got to the park.

We went last year and I know most of the resorts we went to were still serving Nescafe but we didn't try any. We did have coffee at Main Street Bakery (before it was a Starbucks) and at a small coffee cart outside of the Fantasmic theater - both were delicious! We're huge Starbucks fans and enjoyed that coffee more than Starbucks. But now we're wondering if it was Nescafe or Joffrey's :scratchin

I'm not sure of the actual places but I would guess it was joffreys or a completely different brand. Lol if you like Starbucks I highly doubt you would have liked Nescafé. I have been wrong before though.

That's what i'm thinking because from what i've read on here, the Nescafe stuff was pretty bad :lmao:

So it's actual brewed coffee now not syrup added to hot water? I was glad to hear of the change but I worried they would keep the same equipment and lame method of making coffee ;)

i will probably still take my own for the room coffee maker, just in case!;)

Same here ;)

Especially because I need coffee RIGHT when I wake up and I really don't feel like walking all the way to Boardwalk Bakery to get it.

We just got back yesterday from a week at the World. Both my daughters didn't like the Joffery's coffee. They both drank tea rather than the coffee at the resort. Wish I had remember my small electric kettle. And I know that's just their opinion and others will have theirs.

It is definately an improvement over Nescafe but it still wasn't the best coffee I've ever tasted. So glad that there are now starbucks.

It is only slightly better IMHO. I bring my own coffee down to drink in the morning in the room. But nothing beats Starbucks!

The change to Joffrey's is a change in the resort rooms. As far as I know there has been no change in the availability of Joffrey's inside the parks. There have always been kiosks serving it, like the one near France in Epcot (terrible pastry there, though) or the one COFFEE ESPRESSO etc spot just outside the turnstyles at Epcot, or the kiosk before you get to the entrance of Animal Kingdom. Those have always been Joffrey's.

But the *change* to Joffrey's is in the room amenities. I don't know what the Nescafe situation was there; perhaps they did the syrup then flash-dried it? But it was NOT good, and now there's a chance of it being decent.

But not everyone likes serious coffee. We bought a Joffrey's-roasted Africa- blend bag of coffee at AK on our last trip and even though I like good coffee it was WAY too strong for me and I didn't enjoy it much. Drank it; it was expensive. But it was just a method of getting caffeine to my system. :)

Oh duh...the other resort talk was at the food courts etc. Oh yes I do remember that. But when you've got it in the room, your caffeine fix doesn't have to wait. ;)

The Coffee Cart near Fantasmic is Joffrey's. :) Not sure if they were still serving Nescafe at MSB prior to Starbucks being served.

Does anyone know if Joffrey's is being used at the Beach Club/Beach Club Villas?

Joffrey's actually posted last week to say the conversion to their coffee is now complete. They even posted their customer service #!
