so sorry to everyone, I had to have some surgery I have bleeding ulcer, also had 2 unit's of blood my hemoglobin of 8. My head is clear now....and I have REAL dates

May 13th-19th...for sure for sure for sure!!!!! yep!doing the happy dance. But super worried about the budget... I am gonna rely on those here who actually know facts and not worry so much. Also calling to have senior W granter added.

Returning to my thread now to plan (had surgery and very low blood, I have massive ulcer that won't go away-gotta be better to eat all the great stuff on VK)


So I have some kinks to work out with worker before I can do plans! Biggest worry is clothing--have bout only hospital wear for 5 yrs. sweats, yuck! Does anyone know if spending money is given at home or when you get there! Also please PM me if anyone knows approximaye amount.

Sorry you have been so sick. I have ulcers too and I understand how painful and hard to treat they are. I'm glad your getting better and will be feeling ok for your trip. I always have to watch what I eat, no matter how good I feel. But Disney offers so many varieties of food .. I never have a problem finding good stuff !!

But our wish is currently a train wreck. As I previously mentioned our wish granter has had us as our first family, as a result I have really had no information except the limitations of our expierience. we were offerred used luggage (not good because joseph has immune problems) a disposable camera and the possible wish party that is small which I was even informed of the budget for ($40, I did not want to know that). I asked about luggage and a camera only because they had asked us when they first visited if we needed it. Then I was told I was asking for too much. I initially asked to call the other senior wish granter before there were any issues and I was not given the number. I don't want to be negative. I have had alot of questions because I am a single mom who can not work, Joseph is tube fed and requires my care. We have very limited monthly budget and wanted to know what I needed to save money for on the trip. I now feel like this is not feesible. We have been told gas money to the airport and 20 dollars a day per person, that we should eat breakfast and dinner at GKTW (having to leave the park to drive back for dinner). My last two phone calls with the WG were both in tears. She has told me she bent over backwards for me for the luggage and camera and because Joseph's sister was allowed to go and we got the trip. I understand every wish is different, but the saddness and stress of our pre trip seems like a unique wish. It's not what I invisioned when joseph was sufferring from toxic chemo and I lived on hope.
