Just started reading your journal. Thanks for stopping by mine. Oh, Happy Birthday!

I also just realized that you were in WDW when we were.

Anyway, I am just past the part where you tell a little about yourself, it may take me awhile to catch up to the rest, but wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Your story is similar to mine. Skinny throughout high school and a few time in adulthood, but most of my weight gains have come from pregnancies. I was just one of the unlucky ones that alway gained TONS of weight, with the exception of the last pregnancy (that's good as I was already overweight). I have 4 children. DD17 (almost 18), DD15, DD7 & DS (he's 2). Also, I am 5' 6.5" (although always recorded as 5'7") and would love to get back to 135. I believe that I can lead a healthy life there, but have set my goal for 150 as a maximum. After that I can work on the last few lbs.

It is really great that your DH is supportive in the lifestyle change that you are making for yourselves. My DH is supportive of me (wish he did more for himself) and it makes a huge difference. You will really love it here. I have lost 24 lbs in 3 months and it is all because of the support that I get here. It is wonderful to have people around who know exactly how you feel and what you are going through.

Hi Jen! If that was all the bad stuff you ate at WDW, then I applaud you. I'm already anticipating much more than that when I visit in Sept. It's your vacation though! I do hope you enjoyed it........glad to have you back though.

DOES THE BAD FOOD EVER END?? :(

lol...ok, now that all that celebrating my birthday is over with...I'm back to GREAT eating...yesterday I didn't do so hot, but I think I'll live...

I had:

BREAKFAST: none

LUNCH: 1/2 pc fried chicken (skin removed), 1 deviled egg, 1/2 c chicken and noodles, 1/2 c green bean cassarole, three bites mashed potatoes, one roll, and 2 pc ice cream cake from dairy queen.

DINNER: none

WATER: 32 oz

EXERCISE: walked 1 mile

SOOOOOO....hopefully that wasn't too bad!!!


OH AND I'M BACK DOWN 1.5 LBS this morning...so that leaves me up .5 from prior to vacation! ;) (284.5 to be exact) ;)

Are you doing a trip report about Florida? I always enjoy reading those.
Glad you are almost where you were before you went. Healthy eating makes a difference.
 
YEP, i'll be doing a trip report...I'll break it down by days...and I'll post day one tonight :)

We had a wonderful time...it ended all too soon though :(

I'm still feeling bloaty....no doubt from the extra salt I got while on vacation...so who knows, I may drop a few more lbs in the next couple days...would be nice!! I am MOTIVATED and SUPER PUMPED to keep this ball rolling....

ALSO: for all you gator fans, he'll be posting tonight as well... ;)

BREAKFAST: 1 c special k cereal w/skim milk...plus drinking lots of water!!!

LUNCH (will be) SUBWAY, not sure what sandwich yet, but something low cal/fat...

ok, back to work!!!

LUNCH was: 6" turkey on italian herb & cheese bread, pepper cheese, spinach leaves, onion, jalepinos, tomato, ranch dressing

special k bar (2.5 g fat, 90 cal)

small bag plain baked lays

1 orange

SNACK: 1/2 bag lite microwave popcorn (i had a salty craving!!??!!)


WATER TODAY: 46 OZ SO FAR!!

walked about 1/4 mile at lunch to subway and back...that counts right? :)

Where did you find Nemo & Dori??????? I want them!!!!

I keep going in the dis store to buy the talking Dori and every time the only ones they have are broken.

You're doing SO awesome!! Hope I can do as well on my return.

GREAT NEWS!!! I was down a pound on the scales this morning, that makes me .5 under my weight when I left for vacation!!! WOOO HOOOO....keep going, keep going, I'm swimming, swimming, just swimming!!!! :) :cool1: :flower: :cheer2: :cool1: :flower: :cheer2: :bounce:

OK, ENOUGH PARTY TIME FOR ME!! LOL :Pinkbounc :bounce: :wave2:

Breakfast this morning will be: 1 english muffin w/ 1 tbsp lite peanut butter, 1 orange

LUNCH will be 2 turkey brauts and 1 c ff cottage cheese
