Joe Millionaire?

Just seen the last in the series of "The Next Joe Millionaire" involving a Texan guy called David pretending to have $80 million and having a series of dates with European ladies in Italy, and eventually selecting one.

He then has to tell her that he in fact only has $20 in his bank! I'm not saying any more in case there are some UK people who have yet to see the final episode, but I'm curious to know when this was shown in USA?

I noticed the series was made in 2003 - is there another on the way and what was the first in the series like?

I only started watching this as one of my son's was glued to it whilst on school vacation, and I have to admit that once I started watching, I found it compelling!!

It wasn't very popular when it was on, and it was on so long ago here in the US no one probably even remembers it!

It isn't popular here either!!

It has been shown during the mornings on one of the less watched channels over a period of two or so weeks - shown every day but taken off for live coverage of the cricket! That was how DS found it - he was expecting cricket!!

It was on American TV during the fall of 2003, if my memory serves me right! Don't remember much about it, liked the 1st version with Evan Marriot better.
