Anyone see the previews for it? It looks very interesting. I wonder how the women will handle the fact that he is 'poor' and not extremely wealthy. Seems kinda cruel to me, but, of course I'm gonna be watching. Who else? :D

I cant wait for this show and the gold digging desperate women who are on it... I can't wait until the end either! Ha

He is a great looking guy though... I could fall for him rich or not.

I saw the commercial last night were "Joe" was digging a ditch without his shirt!;) Woo Hoo! This will be a good one.

Do I sense a lawsuit coming on from one of the "contestants?" While it's an intriguing idea, I'll bet somebody sues someone over being "misled" or something equally as stupid.

I just may have to tune in to this one!

If the women are just there for the money, they deserve whatever they get.

I think it's immoral to lie to these women by saying that Joe is rich. What if the producers are really lying to us and Joe, is in fact, rich.

Besides rich is a relative term. How does someone prove they are rich? They can show you their assets (no pun intended) but you would not know that they also had debt unless they told you. It gets very complicated with the truly rich. Usuallly they're the ones with out pocket cash because everything's tied up, and you end up footing the bill.

In the previews they say he's worth 50mil. I'm sure that's what the girls are thinking he is worth too.

It's creepy to me how this guy goes around kissing all the girls. I can't stand the thought of all the germs. Blech. I wonder if he doesn't catch something after this experience. Yech.

I think this will be a "hoot"! Those gold-digging witches will get what they deserve! Obviously, the network's lawyers are covering their behinds with the proper wording in their contracts with these women.
"The Bachelor" went around kissing all the girls - I'm sure this guy isn't going to do anything more!
I never watched the Bachelor, but this sounds really funny - hey, if it's not up against something I really want to watch, I'll catch a few episodes!

Oh, this is definitely a train wreck that I wouldn't miss for the world. LOL

My friends and I were talking about this show the other day.

We also had a conversation regarding what if we were on the show? We both agreed that neither of us would care about the money one way or another, but would dump the guy in a heartbeat after the revelation because of the deceit and attempt to humilate us on national television.

Which THEN spawned the thought that I feel really sorry for the woman who is going to be the one he picks (assuming it has a bachelor like feel to it) because if she dumps him (as, IMO, she SHOULD) everyone will assume its because of the money rather than the trust issue. How could you possibly expect to build a true relationship when the entire framework has been a complete lie? IMO, the show is designed to do no more than characterize all women as gold-diggers, and to massively humilate one woman in particular.

The only way the show could redeem itself even slightly--and it would be very slightly--is if they chose to reveal the guy's financial status through yet another lie.....as in, having him lose his millions in the stock market so now he's dirt poor. At least that way the woman will have the option of making a more candid choice......at the time at which she'd need to decide to stay or go, the ONLY thing that has changed is the money. Of course, if she decides to stay and THEN they tell her he was dirt poor all along, that's the point at which she should dump him for being such a weinerhead and agreeing to do the show in the first place.

I don't know what it is about this show that disturbs me so much. Even though I never watched it, I could 'get' and accept the premise of The Bachelor, even though I found it slightly icky.....but this show just seems to scrape the bottom of the barrel. It seems like its SOLE purpose is to totally humilate someone, not have them be humilated through there own stupidity (as often happens on reality shows).

I guess what truly disturbs me about it is the fact that I still feel compelled to watch. I'm still trying to figure out what that says about me. Guess I like train wrecks as much as the next guy, who knows?

I don't really like the idea behind the show either. It just isn't right to lie about something like that.

But, you know that he will be worth more money by the time the show has finished because of the other deals it will open up for him.

My mouth was literally hanging open when I saw the previews for this show. I hate all those reality shows, I think they are a waste of time. I find them truly painful to watch. I'm thinking that the previews say Joe is rich -- then he is poor and maybe after they tell the woman he is poor, see their reaction it will really come out that he is rich again. Voila, no lawsuits! That is my prediction.

I have been watching the promos for this show and thinking that this is too cruel to be true. Reality TV has found a new low and I have no doubt that I will watch at least a couple of the episodes just for the humor.

Cruel or not, I'll be watching.

And hoping he takes his shirt off a lot :p

Based on the previews, I think it looks hideous.

I've watched many of the other reality shows, but this one takes it to a nasty level with the deceipt involved in the concept. It was only a matter of time, I suppose.
