Joe Millionaire...The Aftermath!

Saw Evan briefly on the news last night. It was said that he has used some of his money to purchase a Mercedes and a house. He said that he and Zorah probably wouldn't get back together. That when they met a week ago for the first time since the show it was How are you doing? I'm fine, how are you? type of situation. I don't know what he was expecting. I was sort of hoping that he would start courting her to get to know her better outside of the show. He should remember that Zorah is more reserved than some.

I was kinda shocked that he bought a Mercades, although a house is a good choice. You would think a construction worker would get like a heavy-duty truck of some sorts.

I would like for them to at least give it a shot but I can understand how it would be hard with them leaving on differnt ends of the country. They did say he was only "in the process" of buying a house so maybe once he closes on the house and moves in he'll invite her out to stay with him?

Thinking of him as just a construction worker is a bit misleading given his background. Son of a Bank VP who was sent to a $12,000/yr military-style private school.

Hardly fits the description of our local blue collar population!!

Yes, it's official. Another match made in TV heaven bites the dust !!
Zora was on Regis and Kelly (Joy) yesterday and confirmed they are friends but that is all.
I didn't see all her spot, but came in on the part she said "...I live here and he has his life on the west coast....."

Zora was on Fox News this morning and they brought up the fact that yes, she still is quite poor because Fox has not sent her a real check that she can cash yet! That's really uncalled for!!!

How is it that she hasn't gotten any money and obviously Evan has since he's bought a car and is working on getting his house??? That's not fair.

Evan's probably been getting a pretty steady paycheck with all of his appearances in the last few weeks. I think his 15 minutes of fame is just about over.

I think I heard Evan say on some entertainment show (ET maybe) that he was taking Zora to Hawaii. Anyone else hear that?

For anyone who missed Monday night's show, FOX is repeating it Thursday eveining (tonight).

Face it, he chose the woman who he thought would NOT reject him because he didn't have $$$. He understood the premise of the show. Evan has been on shows like Cedric, where he has been paid. Zora hasn't had the past 3 months to cash in on her "15 minutes".

Also, 1/2 million bucks in Southern California won't buy a house & a Mercedes!

Evan is the golden boy right now because of the massive ratings the show pulled in. No one can seem to get enough of him right now.
You're right--his 15 minutes will be up by summer when someone else takes over--possibly a member of the new George Hamilton Family Reality show where the servants are the judges.

Although Zora was the eventual mate , she wasn't the "star" of the show. She's doing the talk show bit but I didn't hear her say she wanted to pursue anything in the entertainment field.

It's obvious Evan does want to go "Hollywood".
He'll end up on the next ABC "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here"!
