I was just coming in here this morning to thank a few more folks as well.

First, thank you all for your hours of fun times, stressful moments, angry tirades, and everything in between. This has truly been a roller coaster week for everyone and I'm glad we were all able to pull through it together.

I would like to thank Dave for our continued conversations and deep thoughts. The process of arriving at this FD promo started not a few days after the September promo was released, and has truly been a long progression of many thoughts, much research, and lots of humor. You have also brought an endless supply of knowledge and insight to these threads, for which everyone is greatful. In fact, I think Dave and I should be founding members of "The Disney Breakfast Club". I'll be the emotional, nervous, overly obsessed basketcase. Dave, what role would you like to play?

To Smitch (Sir), I would like to thank you for your tireless answering of so many questions, and keeping many heads cool. When the going got tough, you were one of the first in here calming nerves. You're a real trooper and an asset to our threads...where would we be without you? Now, which character would you care to take in this "Breakfast Club"?

And Pluto...you've been following me around for months (stalker!!!), and it's been a true pleasure to share many thoughts. You too have answered so many questions that it's hard to even keep track. You have much knowledge in your head, maybe more than you even know. Thank you for all that you've done here. And your character would be?

Newbie here - been lurking on the pages for awhile and I want to say was very grateful for the heads-up and all the great questions that were asked and answered.

I was prepared for the news that I would need to pick an alternate plan for free dining since my ressie at POFQ was excluded from the discount. I really appreciate all the insights provided - was able to give my amazing TA a plan B/C/D - which she was luckily able to snag. Now on to research the Royal Guest Rooms at POR! Hope my two boys love it!

OH and I saved $700 bucks on my vacation! THAT can buy a lot of Dole Whips!

Love finding this thread!!! YES!!! Huge "THANK YOU" to Black, Dave, Smitch, and Pluto... have thoroughly enjoyed the last several weeks listening to your thoughts, predictions, answers, and wit.

Black... thanks again, for sharing that story about your father. Thanks to the excitement your predictions brewed in our family, my own dad is joining us on this trip -flying 3,000 miles to meet us and create more magical memories together. He never would have thought of it, except for my crazy babbling about FD and RO discounts a few days ago.

Dave... love your humor and strategic thinking. Thank you so much for everything you share here and on your own site. Not sure how you manage to keep on top of so many areas... have you figured out that cloning thing??

Smitch... I've said it before, but it bears repeating - you are awesome! Thanks for sharing your knowledge -getting up early just to help answer questions! Also, thank you for keeping tempers cools on so many threads. You spread around so many ... thanks!

Pluto... Thank you too, for your quick answers on so many topics! You were right on it with so many areas. I suppose you must have been living on these threads the last few weeks -unless, perhaps, Dave shared his cloning success.

I have quietly but faithfully followed and now have a FD trip for my family this Christmas. I can't thank you all enough.

Thanks to Joe for the heads up on the RO rates...I was able to price things ahead of time and really consider what I wanted (and for what price), which made my choice when the discounts were released so much easier.

And...thanks to Dis posters for letting us know about Orbitz and Travelocity deals (and discount codes) on The Big Day. You guys saved me even more $$$, which is great!

I'm fairly new on these boards and just wanted to say thanks SO MUCH for all the fantastic information!!!! Joe and David and others who have chimed in with bits of valuable info and/or have answered my questions, THANK YOU! I'm heading to POFQ for my second visit this year, on the fabulous 20% RO discount I would never have known about until it was too late! And while I'm there I'll be booking a bounceback offer for next summer (just called and got the details which I hope are correct) and I never would have even HEARD of a bounceback offer if not for you guys! I just wanted to add to the chorus of voices thanking everyone, especially Joe Black over at the Department of Redundancy Department for the work in keeping us informed on this free dining and other discounts.

Because of you we were able to book a package with free dining for the first time EVAH! so I just want to say thank you! thank you! thank you!

We changed the dates from early December to December 14 through the 19th, and since our new these dates coincide with our (Disney) wedding anniversary and our grandson's 8th birthday, so we just could not be happier!
