All this Zimmerman talk makes my head spin. Yuck. But guess what everybody, I was just informed that my friend's uncle has just been transferred to the prison that Jodi will be at. And since my friend followed the trial like I did, here's hoping I get some stories!

Wow! That is even better than me meeting the detective. I am sure you will hear some stories about her.:thumbsup2

That is awesome. I can't wait to hear some stories. I am sure there will be lots of them.

I hope so. Maybe they'll be stories of her getting shanked! (Where's the stick stabbing smiley)

Has anybody watched In Session trial on Matthew Sheidt? I've been following a bit here and there. He's the kid who impersonated a MA. I wanted to read up on the story a bit so googled it. Apparently he also was arrested for impersonating a cop. And at the age of 13 he was impersonating a nurse at a hospital. When I first heard the story, I was thinking that it was more of a mistake on the hospitals part- not that he wasn't stupid to do what he did- but hospitals need to really be on top of things like knowing a person's credentials without letting them on the floor. But now after reading the other stuff, this kid is just an idiot and maybe a year in jail will teach him not to play pretend.

I was listening to a little bit of it , don't know how I got side tracked. I am listening to the potential jurors on Zimmerman. This one is a whopper. That kid should spend a year in jail.

I guess he has been found guilty, he could face 22 yrs in jail

Well this doesn't mean that this will happen. I wonder if these documents go by spelling issues. Instead of it saying deciding if " she " it says " he " lives or dies. Of for pete sakes, Nurmi needs to look at documents before filing and the person who took it should of made sure it was ok. :sad2:

Next issue she had DB all set to testify. They did not file any papers stating his life was in danger or threatened in manner. So Jodi did have someone to testify on her behalf. More stall tactics to keep her in the jail and not move to the prison.

@maryellenabc15: #jodiarias court records re-sealed as Co Atty moves forward with re-trial of death penalty phase. Judge cites info could affect jury pool.

Means that all the records that recently got unsealed, like the sidebar discussions and closed proceedings, will be resealed. The public will no longer have access to those until after the retrial of the sentencing phase.

As if all the continual HLN coverage hasn't already done that.

I was telling Mom that all the media coverage of Zimmerman could affect getting an impartial jury for that trial.

My thoughts exactly. I'd love to know how they think they're going to find people who haven't formed some opinion about this case, especially after the media blitz that's been going on for months and months.

Watching the Zimmerman trial, there have been opinions that he is innocent already heard by jurors. One woman almost said she thought about giving money to help his defense..

That doesn't surprise me. I haven't watched any more of the jury selection since my weak moment the other day.

I know they are in Florida and it would explain it, and I am not racist but they have had allot of hispanic people that don't understand english. I don't think they even had that many with the CA trial. Some of them want to serve, but know they would not be able to as they have a hard time understanding. And now they have decided to sequester the jury.

I guess there is allot of controversy over the jury.

haha.

I don't know how you would find a jury ANYWHERE that had not at least HEARD of Zimmerman. If anyone ever watches the news they had to see a piece on it.
