Soooooooo if JA was telling the thruth can't she skip wasting tax payer money anymore and choose life? Can't she just make her lawyers not put on a big to do about trying to stop the DP? Isn't that what she wanted????

No, she can't choose life at this point as it is the state seeking the death penalty.

IF she does receive death, then there is an automatic appeal. If she loses the appeal, then she can waive her rights to any further appeals if she truly thinks death is the ultimate freedom.

The sheriff did comply with the judge. At least she does not get another word right now anyway. It is time for her to endure the wrath of this family at her. And she can't do anything about that either. And I am sure that angers her more than ever.

This announcement came after a mystery hearing regarding the trial was held on Tuesday. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office released the following advisory to HLN:

"Moments ago, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office received an order from the Superior Court of Arizona and Honorable Judge Sherry Stephens that from today, prohibits Sheriff's Office officials from approaching defendant Jodi Arias for the purposes of media interview requests."

The sheriff's office said it will abide by the judge's order.

"We will not attempt to contact Arias for purposes of media interviews until that order is lifted by the court.

Once the court lifts the order, and if inmate Arias agrees to do interviews, all interested media parties will be notified immediately by Sheriff's PIO via email. Interviews will be conducted thereafter in the order already received."

The point either Jingasaurus or Beth Karas was making was that she didn't know if it was enforceable, but that yes, the sheriff's office agreed to abide by the order. Just passing along what I heard. I'm guessing if Jodi still has a route to tweeting, she'll say as much as she can.

Whoever would have thought we'd end up almost (but not quite) feeling sorry for Nurmi/Willie for having to deal with that evil monster. When they write their books, they'll be saying "Jodi Arias was the worst thing that ever happened to me."

Just got a text from DD "I just had to read about Jodi Arias on the Internet like everyone else. No text message updates from you?" I have failed in my duties as a mother.

I'm always so far behind you guys! I thought JM did a great job today, and it was brilliant when he did the 2 minutes of silence to show how long Travis suffered. Two minutes of extreme pain and fear is such a long, long time.

Hello everyone

Much appreciation to all of you for your updates, tweets, chitty chat, and Wasted Bandwidth I reallly mean that though.

I was MIA all weekend. It was one thing after another around here. My DD has been here alot, and she doesn't take this stuff well on TV in light of a friend and co-worker being murdered last year, with no suspect or movement in the investigation.

OUr sweet chocolate lab puppy went fishung with DH and DS, and DH laid his sturgeon pole down for a mere "second". Long enough for "Ellie" to swallow the hook and bait whole. They were super fast about just cutting the line and rushing her to the vet. Needless to say she did well in surgery and is home now like nothing ever happened, with 14 staples in her belly. My jack russel enjoyed the break from puppy-ness. So....$978.14 later, all our tax return is gone!

I enjoy you all very much, and just wanted to reach out to you. Thanks for indulging me

Your poor pooch! It is so upsetting and frightening when our pups do things like this. The rushing to the vet and the surgery is so stressful. I'm glad she's okay and will completely recover. I think vets should hand our valium for the human family members!!

Labs will eat anything and everything. It just amazes me. We've always had labs, and I'm still shocked at what they will eat.

Verdict: Count 1 - Aggravating Factor Especially Cruel: HAS BEEN PROVEN

JM proved his case, I would have been surprised IF the jury had come back with a different verdict. What Arias did to Travis, it just sends chills down my spine to think of his last moments of life.

Now comes what I believe is the hardest decision the jury has to make.

Can't wait to see the look on Jodi's face when Travis' family speaks out on the stand. Lets hope Juan can finish bringing it home.

I agree. The jury will have to decide between the DP or LWOP and it is real. A real person is sitting there and they need to be able to look at that person and sentence them to death. This jury will be looking at Arias to deliver their decision.

Travis' family finally has their moment to speak about their brother and their loss. I don't think anyone will be able to listen to them without becoming very emotional. I cannot imagine all that they have gone through, yet they have shown such strength and integrity. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
