Good morning!

Today I plan on doing a mega grocery day to get ready for the end of this week! Watermelon, cheez it's, string cheese, and turkey sandwiches is what this girl will want! Ahhhh, yummy!

Only two days away! And on Friday the doctor better hurry up. She is such a talker. I have priorities you know...

I bought food today to get back on Atkins (again )...what was I thinking? I'm going to be doing anxious eating this week! Oh well, I'll have to make another run to the store and get snacky food...Doc Atkins will have to wait until after the verdict, when I can focus better. Anyway, if the verdict isn't what I want to hear, I'm going to go into a carb binging frenzy anyway.

I'm watching the opening statements now. They were on HLN starting at 1 PM. I record all the HLN shows after noon (the morning one is like 6 hours!), and then FF and delete. Didn't know they were doing opening statements again. Interesting to watch JM, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to watch Willie bash Travis AGAIN.

Not only do I not know how I'm going to be able to bear sitting through the BS Willie (I'm assuming it will be her ) is going to be spewing during her closing argument - but now with currently suffering with seasonal allergies - I don't know how my poor allergy-affected ears are going to be able to bear Willie's whiny, shrill, annoying voice while not being able to partake in any adult beverages to help lull the pain of listening to Willie because I'm not supposed to mix any with my allergy meds ... Oy, this is going to be tough ...

Just some info I found about LWOP/Death Penalty. I wasn't even looking for Jodi Arias info...I was checking up on a NJ guy who was a high school teacher when he murdered (and other things ) an 8 yr old Brownie who went to his house to deliver cookies...they were neighbors. I was living in NJ at the time, and wanted to join the search but we couldn't get there (plus, they probably didn't want a bunch of high schoolers). After he was arrested, one of the teachers I had who knew him said how shocked she was because he was one of the nicest people she had ever met. I hope that JA's jurors can get past any "sweet" aspect of Jodi that may have come out (altho, I didn't see any). I hate when the defense does their song and dance about a defendant never having committed a crime before. Well, they got CAUGHT. Had they not? Who knows. I don't believe that the above mentioned guy (Joseph McGowan) and Jodi Arias would not kill again, given the chance.

So interesting you brought up this case. He was a teacher in my H.S. in Rockland County. I started H.S. after this happened but it was news in our area for years and years. Still is every time he came up for parole.

I tried a few of the atkins, and they were so good and tasty. I like them better than the smart ones. Have you tried the breakfast ones? Are they any good?

That's gonna be real tricky since Geffner is a psychologist with a background in domestic violence.

He's being called to dispute the State's psychologist expert's (DeMartes) findings.

She was on a mission. I feel she went at that poor man like a crazed lunatic.
She had to be covered in blood, I can't even imagine what those few minutes were like.

Horrific crime. I hope she gets max penalty, to protect the rest of the men (or women) she could meet in the future...she is truly evil!

Oh no...it's going to be rough for everyone, but you're in for it! Can't you up the allergy meds? A little bit? Just enough for a little high? Don't you have any *plants* growing on your roof in Tupperware containers?

Now that I think about it...I might have to buy a whole 4 pack of wine coolers to get me through this!

I can only imagine. I know her mother became an activist for laws against child murderers. He was only 28 when he murdered her; he's been in prison for 40 years now, and will die there. When I think of all the taxpayer money...esp at times like this, after how NJ got hit and is still suffering from Hurricane Sandy...to keep that POS breathing, fed and housed, it makes me sick.

I did buy actual Atkins meals to have on hand on the off chance lmao I don't cook occasionally, but I try not to rely on them. But yeah, they're not bad! I have tried the breakfast ones, back when they first came out, and IIRC, they're pretty good too. But funny you should say that...I only bought one of each of two kinds today because couldn't really remember how much I liked them. But I don't think there were any that I just didn't like at all.

I just hope they stay on schedule.

Oh, you were serious? Who knows...maybe after 4 months of delays, they'll keep to THIS. But I'm having a hard time picturing Jodes NOT taking control of the situation with her "migraines" and causing some kind of delay.

Wonder if they're going to parade the whole Arias family into the courtroom (including the dog ) to show support for their sweet Jodes.

I have been following this trial since ja took the stand. I read here and Web sleuths but I may be out. One of my daughters best friends pulled out a gun during first bell this morning and shot himself. He is alive, in very critical condition. I don't want to let her out of my sight and I don't want her having any of this images in get head. Such a great, smart, volunteer, scout, with tons of friends. So many are hurting right now. He was just here Friday, before prom, and I can't bring myself to look at the pictures.
