Ok. Let me get this straight. They took a trip to NM in November 2007. I've seen the pictures of them in front of the hot air balloons. Being from NM, I can tell you that the Balloon Fiesta (if that's where they went) is not, or has it ever been in November. It's always in October.

For a man it is VERY hard to go to the authorities and make it public that you are afraid of a woman.

There is a stigma of society looking at you as weak for doing this so it is embarrassing for a man, and that man also could think that no one will take him seriously because they would not see a woman as a threat.

You got that right.

Although a lot of that has changed since men are becoming educated about domestic violence.

As a straight man I can 100% say that it is, I don't mean it as a insult to women, but it is just how straight men feel. It is why the term emasculating exists.

Not "anything" like a woman though, but being called a "woman" completely as a man is emasculating though.

Is this re-direct changing anybody's opinion about Violet? ... Is it helping or hurting her credibility at this point? ...

It's not making a difference to me ... I still think her assessment of JA was flawed and all BS ... Actually, I'm not even paying much attention to what she's saying now at all ... What do you all think? ...

Exactly, so it should be more believable that a man would not report stalking to the athorities and probably figured he could handle it on his own.

Indeed, it would take a lot for me personally to be scared enough of a woman that I would report it because of this reason. However, the story of this murder itself may make me want to go do so more if a woman was stalking me because it quite honestly is scary to think what happened to TA and I could see myself caught in the same trap he was.

I am hardly caring and I think the jury are likely tuning this all out too. I know all I care and need to know about ALV's bogus assessment of JA.

usnuzuloose~ I went back and read. I busted out laughing at how many times you posted this and only Uncle Remus responded. You should feel abused. I went back and edited it to add that you had mentioned this. I will go back to my fog and try to read all of today's posts.


I also want to say that I really enjoy everyone's friendship on this thread. This is really a horrible case, one that haunts me as I try to go to sleep. If it wasn't for the great insights, good natured joking, and understanding of each other whether we agree or not, I don't think I could get through this case. Thanks everybody!!
