Maybe his strategy is just to let her ramblerambleramble like the other defense witnesses did = more stuff for him to use later that Jodi doesn't fit the profile as the abusee, but the abuser.

They kinda do because the DT is hoping that the jurors will pull references from these stories that are similar to what JA testified to regarding her experiences with TA and how he acted towards her and how he made her feel, etc. ...

I personally think that a lot of these stories actually make JA look like the agresssor/abuser and the one with the problem ... but everybody sees and hears things differently ... And as is in this case, it only matters what the jury thinks ...
