I am re-watching some if the testimony this AM and maybe I missed this discussion, but why is JM pounding the 3 gas can theory for dates after the murder? What is my brain missing?

YESSSS!!! I am so not kidding!

I used to watch The Doctors a long time ago, and then Dr Phil's son Jay had on his Playboy posing wife and triplet sisters talking about trying to get pregnant at the same time, and they were SO STOOPIT and clueless, I couldn't stand it. It had already annoyed the heck out of me how Phil and his plastic wife went on and on (overkill) with how thrilled they were that their son found such a wonderful woman to marry! Before that, Dr Phil would have been counseling women who felt the need to get publicly naked.

I had to go back and watch the Nancy Grace video again this morning. I think I'm going to bookmark it for when I'm feeling down.

Don't know. All this time I'm thinking it's on the way there until I read this. But I've got it on InSession now, and it's June 6.

Yes, I think that is it. He is trying to prove that she is lying about returning the 3rd gas can in Salinas CA at the Walmart. He asked her if she would be surprised that Walmart has no record of a gas can returned on the day she said she returned it.

I have HLN on in the kitchen (while watching InSession in the LR ) with the sound off, but I did see that coverage starts at NOON EST time today, FYI. Not sure if it's because they're covering some sort of hearing, or if that's when they're going to primarily stick to covering and rehashing the trial, with actual testimony starting at 1 PM EST.

Playing devil's advocate here, but still having that third gas can AND filling it up AFTER the murder may play into her theory of buying cheap gas?

I get frustrated with JM because I feel like he tries to make mountains out of mole hills that, IMO, are a waste of time...but what I do I know. I'm guessing he has a plan

Yes, he's going for premeditation. But someone (including myself) was wondering what the point of gas purchases AFTER the crime was, and it's to prove she had not returned the 3rd gas can before the crime and still had three since she filled three after the crime.

But it still remains that she did have the 3rd gas can that she's adamantly claiming that she returned. I'm not sure of the route of her travels, if she would still be covering up where she was at that point by actually using 3 gas cans.

On Friday, Vinnie Politan said that he and his staff spent two days re-watching the testimony from day one of Jodi being on the stand, and she's been asked (by attorneys and the jury) 5400 questions. Which means we've been tortured by her 5400 answers. lol The jury has asked 220 questions to date.

She's pretty unbearable. Giddy and silly and obnoxious. I watched her when the new Fantasyland opened and she was so friggin' clueless and obnoxious, as was the guy reporting from Fantasyland. You'd think they'd hire a few extra interns to do some research.

momrek06, that's something about your son's connection to Dr Petit. That has to be one of the worst crimes I've ever heard of. You wondered how he was...a while back, it was reported that he remarried and that his former FIL gave a toast, I think it was, at the wedding. How sad and wonderful at the same time. It's hard to imagine moving on after what he endured, and how awesome for his 1st wife's family to support him like that.

Someone better come up with those receipts, I can't believe Martinez would ask Jodi if she'd be surprised that WalMart has no record of the return without the State actually having proof of that.

There's other things I wish Martinez would tie up too, he leaves things just too vague and the jury needs to be able to fall back on facts in order to get to a death penalty other than Jodi lies all the time.
