Does anyone recall Juan asking Jodi about a remote control?
And as the DT stated, this witness is relying on those articles for his testimony. Which may or may not be accurate.
I'm hoping the judge don't allow the PPP and makes RS testify strictly on his knowledge and professionalism. With this judge, I doubt it, but one can hope right?
I saw that. But honestly, I have to wonder how it all happened the state's way.I do believe that her explanation would take longer, because Travis is bodyslamming her, chasing her, fighting back, she has to get the gun, find the knife, etc. And I believe the real way things happened is that she had the gun and the knife, if not actually in her hands the whole time, then handy. Still seems like it all happened so fast!I don't know too much about PSTD...if it means you don't remember and event from beginning to end, or just parts of it. Or if he can do what you have to do during the event, and then when it's all over your mind blocks it out (which is what she's basically claiming). I think those things CAN happen in certain circumstances. I don't think it's what's happening here tho.
Here's info about Dr Richard Samuels, this next expert:

OMG ... I was just watching HLN and someone called in and said that she believes that TA was a pedophile because he would only have a*** sex ... I really hope the jurors have more intelligence than that ...![]()

I do. I have been wondering about that. Jodi went back to Darryl Brewer's house to return a remote after going to the nail salon. Maybe it was the remote to the DVD player that was "stolen" from her grandparents house. Maybe she gave Darryl or his son the DVD player. Another thing too, I watched some of DB's testimony the other day. I did not see it the first time around. For some reason, he seems still loyal to Jodi. I wonder if she had blackmailed him, maybe even accusing to expose him as a pedophile, to which he would lose custody of his son. His child is 14 now so he would have been around 5 at the time.
I'm just gonna say it....here's hoping I don't get points! He probably liked her butt because it was tighter than her pootchka. That or he knew she wouldn't get knocked up that way.

Ewwwww, defense expert is even creepier in person!
And the defense team is SOOOOO unprepared. You always have paper copies that can be thrown up on that overhead projecter in the event of technical/computer issues.
Yeah, some old lady. No offense to old ladies....I'm on my way to being oneOMG ... I was just watching HLN and someone called in and said that she believes that TA was a pedophile because he would only have a*** sex ... I really hope the jurors have more intelligence than that ...![]()
The 62 seconds are based on the time stamps of the pictures on the camera.Wasn't JM putting the timeline into the 62 seconds by Jodi's account? I really have no idea how it all happened, but the shooting wouldn't make sense coming first. Plus you know there is time that is taken out to look in the mirror and to spit up blood and then who knows what else. Somebody did say that it is possible that more stabbing came after the last picture. Who knows, my mind is scrambled from all the inconsistencies and gaps.
I believe PTSD can work in various ways from blacking out completely, kind of like running on auto pilot when you're driving. You leave your destination and then you're home and have absolutely no clue how you managed. And then I think there are some people who remember bits and pieces and then others who subconsciously remember it all and it comes back in nightmare/flashbacks and random moments. I wonder if Jodi has had nightmares about that day?
That guy who is going to testify is just as smarmy as Nurmi. He's going to bring up reasons why Travis WAS a child molester (nevermind the lack of evidence) and because of his pedophilia, it will explain his dominating nature and then go on to say why Jodi did what she had to do. Perhaps had he been brought in before all the lies, the jury may believe him a bit more. But I think at this point, the jury has seen that Jodi changes her story to suit herself, adds massive amounts of details but conveniently forgets EVERYTHING from the day of the murder, and the mere fact that her attorneys have been grasping at straws for some sort of defense and throwing Travis under the bus time and again.
I think JM asked her about it when he was talking about her nail salon trip. He said something along the lines of when you went back to Darryl's to return a remote. Then he went on to something else. I think he is setting this up for rebuttal. He seems to get ideas in and then ties it up nicely at a later time. Lets our brains process infomation so when we hear it again, we know what he is talking about. When did this remote come into play " so to speak " ?
