And a thing about the tree comment. I remember this because my husband was home when they played this originally and we started talking about the trial. After Travis makes the tree comment, they go on to talk about a scene from the movie Me, Myself, and Irene. This tree tying scene is in that movie. I think it was an inside joke and they would probably talk about it. Since Jodi bases a lot of her life on movies, I think this was all an inside joke set up to make it look like Travis wanted it.

Once again, we're back it being all about her going along with everything to make him happy. But SO WHAT!

They will try and say and do everything they can do to save her ...

That's what I was going to say. I totally get that this is potentially the end of her life for her and something that we're just watching. BUT, I don't get why the judge is allowing anything and everything the defense wants (even to try to prevent a reversal). This tape is a chopped up version of another piece of evidence - evidence that has already been presented and heard. There can be NO acceptable reason for it to be admitted after it's been altered to fit their agenda. If I were the prosecution, I would be fit to be tied.

Agreed. And you just know that if the prosecution tried to do something like this, the defense would be all over it calling for a mistrial and using it for an appeal because it would be prejudicial to the client.

HOW can they bring this up now with no recross?? I think Nurmi knows exactly what he's doing...he rang that bell, and it can't be unrung. They're only NOW coming up with this?? Scumbag.

This should be all hearsay, no proof of that what so ever. And I think he should be allowed to recross with this garbage coming in.
