I didn't know she was in the court room. I never even knew they had a hearing. I am glad it was still turned over.

Definitely shows Jodi was attempting to tamper with potential witnesses.

I don't understand why so many people are making a big deal about her taking her glasses off to read. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years. I can't watch tv or walk down the block without my glasses on. But I'm nearsighted, so I take them off when I read. If I try to read with my glasses on it's just a blurry mess.

The prosecutor is driving me crazy with all of the jumping around. The last thing he needs to do is confuse the jury.

Nobody has said a word about Nurmi dropping his glasses down to his chin to read. One of the talking heads on HLN said Arias used to wear contacts and is near sighted. She started wearing glasses on the 2nd day of court, then it was a different pair for a number of days til she settled on these.

So everyone, I watched right up until the late afternoon break and then I had several important calls I had to take.

Got back to the trial when they were discussing JA chasing after some dude that she was dating back in 2000-2001. Actually JA was chasing after the new gf her ex was dating.

So what did I miss after they returned from the late afternoon break? Any recap I would LOVE because I am confused about the "magazine" discussion on here. And who is Ann Campbell?

There was a hearing in Aug 2011 over the child porn. She had these magazines that she wanted to give to a friend that she wrote a message in on different pages wanting her to lie for her.

From what I hear if there is a shred of evidence that the defendant has lied the jury has the right to just throw aside what ever of the testimony and find her guilty. I can't wait to get back to the issue on monday.

That's what I was thinking.Geez, you're good. Did they mention this on InSession or how did you know? I'm missing a lot of this trial! Or maybe I did hear she was there in the last TWO MONTHS and it didn't register or I forgot. This trial is like The Song That Never Ends.

At the 8 minute mark the cell phone company employee is sworn in and JA wants a better view of him and has to remove her glasses to see him approx 20' away. That would make her farsighted. She was reading with her glasses on during day 9.
Day 9 glasses were a more comtemporary style frame and her hair looked nice.
Current glasses and hair style look like they are from the 1970's.

She has come to court with allot of different eyewear.
This pair I think we saw on her just one day.

These are the ones she is currently wearing on the stand. These are more square. These are more dark rimmed.

And this pair she was wearing before she took the stand. These are more round. And more clear than dark rimmed.

You know, when she made the comment to JM that she had memory issues when men like him and TA were yelling at her, she didn't seem to behave like someone with Battered Women Syndrome. I would think she would shrink back in fear when he started yelling. Not standing up to him.

Just heard them say on Dr. Drew that when that happened he approached her to about 5 feet and kind of whispered, "Is this better Jodi?" and that when he did that some of the jurors actually laughed. They said one juror had to hold his pad up in front of his face because he was laughing so much.

I haven't read the thread yet, but I will go back and do that. I wanted to share my observations. I'll admit I was confused for a while as to what Mr. Martinez was doing. The 'dumb' sister comment was weird and I didn't understand. It took a while, but now I think I love him! He must jump around, first, to really put Jodi's memory (or lack) to the test. It forces her to really stop and think of new lies or a cover for the old lies. Second, It shows her as defiant, smirking and no weak victim. I think as the days go one he will tie all the loose ends together. He's going somewhere with his timeline disproving the pedo plot line. Jodi was never at Travis's house the day she claimed he saw him with the underwear pictures. The calls and texts prove that! And then he also never broke her finger, b/c there was no incident there was no reason for the violent fight about it. Not to mention anyone with a brain can tell it was not injured until after Travis was killed.

He is clearing Travis's name of being a pedo, systematically.

He is demonstrating her obsessive stalking behavior quite well. And she doesn't even know that stalkish behavior isn't normal. She's justified and said so many times.

He knows what he is doing.
