haven't left yet. 20 minute sidebar. Now judge is back in chambers with the court PIO. Lawyers and Arias still seated.

The judge wants the media to leave the courtroom for the first defense witness and to shut down the cameras. She says she's closing the courtroom except for family. What????

This morning when I remembered the defense was going to begin, the first thing I thought of was the wooden spoon.


Man, if the court doesn't allow the defense testimony/argument to be public, the folks who subscribed to KarasOnCrime are gonna be upset.

IMO, media coverage had impact on last #JodiArias trial, but now judge is going too far to try to control that coverage.
