What would this prove? Other than a connection with the victim, Travis Alexander.

So the defense can use Travis' behavior against him. They need someone to testify about the religion and I guess they've somewhat agreed Det Flores can do that.

It does make one wonder why a bishop or other church elder wasn't called in to testify rather than the lead detective.

All I kept seeing was the stuff we saw at trial, it was worse reading than just seeing it….. if that's possible.

No idea. From what i"ve read of the tweets, I think he's sadly mistaken.

Beth Karas hasn't opined on this (whether the State presented a strong or weak case) in particular, but she did say there's not a lot of animosity this time round in the court room between Nurmi and Martinez like there was in the first trial. Course, she added this is only the first week.
