I didn't get an appt confirmation call, and got all excited that maybe my appt is NEXT week. So I called...it's tomorrow. It's going to be a two hour appt. I'll tell her to just hurry.

So, today we put 37 pages (so far) on this thread. Tomorrow, it will definitely be as long or longer, with the cross, but I won't be here. So I might start the second thread earlier. I'll see how tomorrow goes. My appt isn't till afternoon.

They showed a diagram of the room/closet/bathroom set up earlier. The closet had 2 doors on opposite walls. One went into the closet from the hallwall and the other went into the bathroom.

I'm going to look for that diagram and put it in the first post. It really does give a better perspective of things.

I certainly hope Jodi doesn't get "sick" tonight so she can't be in court tomorrow.

So do the experts get to testify first before cross?

No Jodi, no court. Cross of Jodi would have to happen before the experts, and she would have to be in court for all testimony.

Geeez, I wonder where Martinez will start. There's just so much, but he's pretty clear and quick to the point.

Probably start with the text messages. Probably try to show that she loved the attention and that the times they GOT together it was mutual. Might move on to her road trip before she went to his house. Might ask her why go when she could've easily stayed away. Then he'll move on to the actual murder. At least this is my guess. Hopefully he sticks more with the timeline than Nurmi did.

Did anybody catch nancy grace yesterday saying that the defendant team must be watching tv because all of these questions posed of "how will the defense/Jodi explain this..."magically get brought up.

Nancy also said that Jodi claimed to want to kill herself but killed Travis instead. "Isn't it funny how these murderers are so suicidal but always end up being the ones left alive?" Hahahah

I don't know, Martinez fought to keep those texts from being admitted. He might go directly to the lies in Jodi's first telephonic interview with Det Flores, then onto the lies in her first face to face interrogation with Det Flores and then to the lies in the second face to face interrogation with Det Flores. And then he can ask her how one would know what the truth is if her lips are moving?

I'm leaving the house tomorrow at 12:30 PM which is when cross is supposed to start. So I'll just plan now to make a new thread right before I leave, even if we're not super close to 250 pages. Good plan?

Great idea!! DD, dsil and 2 grandbabies r coming for dinner tomorrow night, plus the nascar afternoon races. Think instead of steak stirfry it's gonna be hamburger macaroni and I'll fix it during the lunch break.
