HEY EVERYONE, HEAD'S UP ….

We are at 2900+ posts … will the DIS close this down while we are in the middle of chatting up this afternoon?

Should we just keep this thread going?

Thoughts!

I thought it was 250 pages before a thread was closed, but I'm kinda a newbie still, soooo I may be wrong on that ... :confused3

LOL, she would need the court stenographer's transcripts to RETELL she story.

Then she would blame the stenographer for typing her story wrong.

I have a feeling if it is 250 pages, we will far, far exceed that by the time this is all said and done. I see a Part II in our futures. :scratchin

Good point on tv. That there were no blood stains in any other part of the house. Jodi said she lost her shoes and she had blood on her. How did she get out of the house and not leave any blood stains?

Yes, while I thought she was sloppy trying to hide the camera in the washing machine … I think its interesting that there are no blood stains out to her car????

And I wonder when she dyed her hair back to brown; as the car rental agent said she was blonde when she rented the car.

So brazen that while Travis lies dying/dead in his home, she is off to cuddle with RB in his love sack while watching a movie…..

I know we discussed this awhile back but I don't remember. Is there a possibility of her being acquitted due to Battered Woman Syndrome or is this just to see if she gets death penalty or life in prison?

A horror movie at that.

Hi Kar.

I've been following along as well. You know I work with a bunch of attorneys. I just haven't had time to contribute, because I'm trying to listen/watch at work.

Anyways, Mods won't shut it down until you get close to 250 pages. So you still have some room to play with.

She won't be acquitted, defense is going for a lesser sentence under a lesser charge than premeditated 1st degree murder. Course, it only takes one to result in a hung jury and yes, the defense set up their BWS foundation so it's possible it could go 1 of 3 ways: Guilty 1st degree premeditated, 2nd degree murder or hung jury.

ETA: AZ is one of those states that allows the jury to consider lesser charges.

I think people mentioned it was for just the death penalty. Correct me if I am wrong! :)

so where are the shoes...
Could they have been washed (with the bleach ie...the stains they saw) and she took them then ditched them too.
I think the defense really may have gone way to short on the murder scene...

I also think that the prosecutor will not go too heavy...this jury has listened for so long for so much minutia that he may zone in on the LIES ..he feels are important, like her credibility is so NOT there, and then not go on and on...
While we all sit and analyze it all, I often wonder how bored a jury gets and once they feel something for a defendant (one way or the other) they just focus on what supports THEIR feelings...KWIM?
So if in fact they "feel" for Jodi, they just may believe her on everything else...ya just never know...
Like Oj, Or Casey...

To us, it may seem so open and shut, to the jury....not so much..
I am looking forward to hearing the prosecution on cross........

One of the defense attorney's on InSession just answered my question. She is going to jail no matter the outcome. Either first degree with death penalty or 2nd degree. However, Beth Karas mentioned earlier that second degree carries a 10-22 year sentence with 16 years being the norm. She has already served 4 years so she could be out in 12. Unbelievable.

ETA: Thanks UncleRemus for answering me while I was typing.

Aaaand the bathroom cabinet under the sinks is now unloaded for the plumber tomorrow. :lmao:

You are right.

This trial is NOT if she walks it is about whether she gets the DEATH penalty as vs LIFE w/o parole.

JA admitted to her attorneys that she killed him and then of course again TODAY.

You know what I didn't hear? Any reference to being sorry for killing Travis or what she had done TO HIM. Only what she had done. No remorse, no guilt, no mention of Travis at all.

Chilling.

She feels he made her kill him. It's his fault since he wouldn't love her the way she wanted. She's not sorry he's dead, only that her life is ruined.

And what else did we hear? That she was worried HER LIFE would be over because of what she had done.

Wait, they just mentioned that .25 bullets were found in JA's suitcase and a knife was found in some boxes. I came in on the end of that sentence and then they cut to commercial. Is this true?
