I just looked up Arizona's gun laws. You do not need a permit to buy a handgun and you do not need to register a handgun.

JA stole her grandmother's gun BUT then she killed Travis with HIS gun???

Also JA pointed to the gun being on a TOP shelf in Travis' closet … how the heck did she have time to reach that gun without a step ladder while he is chasing her down the hallway????

Ooh good point. Don't know how tall she is but I'm 5'10" and DH has those tall shelves in his closet and I can't reach the top without jumping a few times to knock off what I'm after (too lazy for a step stool).

I agree. I also think that if I was trying to get away from someone, I wouldn't stop to go searching for a gun. Plus, she admitted it was high on a shelf in the top corner of the closet. She had to get up on a chair when she was cleaning when she found it. If Travis was chasing after her, I wouldn't think she would have had enough time to pull the chair over there, dig in the box, and point it at him before he caught up to her. She is a lying liar who lies!
