I'm following the trial on a FB page. They said the delay was the defense and JA was in chambers with the judge and the prosecution was talking to the family not to react to anything that comes out today in court. The court media liaison was also summoned into chambers

Usually when a defendant pleads guilty, the sentence is already determined by agreement.

prosecutors refused... they want a murder conviction and death for the heinous crime of murder by slaughter.....

He was a fight club fan, has the punching bag and all (it's in the pictures), used to have fight club parties so that story could fit.
