Jock Lindsey's or Trader Sam's?

Trying to decide whether to go to Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar or Trader Sam's. If you could only pick one where would you go?

I haven't been to Jock Lindsey's but I'm going to vote for it. Trader Sam's was exceedingly annoying (our server was over-the-top and not funny at all) and expensive. Was it fun to watch the antics? I guess, but not fun enough to justify the $100 bill we got for 3 alcoholic and 1 non-alcoholic drinks. The menu at Jock Lindsey's looks better too.

I understand that Jock's has hired a number of the staff from Trader Sam's, so it sounds as if there may be a fair amount of similarity between how things go at the two places.

Reviews are so far saying Jock's pours of alcohol are ridiculously light to being an even bigger rip off then usual for drinks at Disney. So if you're going for drinks, I'd pick Trader Sam's: while you're not going to find anything strong, at least you can usually taste the alcohol.

...Having said that, I'm still going to head to Jock Lindsey's and try it, but everyone I actually trust on the drinking around Disney deal has been reporting not very good drinks there. =/

I haven't been to Jock Lindsay's yet, but gotta say that I am a huge Trader Sam's person! I have spent many fun evenings there.

This is true! I'm also biased towards Trader Sam's because its a bit of a CM hotspot hehe. You have to love the Adventureland vibe.

We managed to fit both in! Trader Sams was fun but I couldn't see us spending more than an hour there, over the course of 30 minutes we were able to see most of the drink ordering related antics, and multiples of a few, our waiter was fantastic. Drinks at Trader Sams were a touch better than Jock Lindsey's but a bill for 2 ran nearly $40 for two of the smaller drinks including the souvenir glasses. No glasses at Jock's yet.

Food looked comparable at both places but we only ate at Jock's, the food was generally meh and served not all that hot, pretzels were lukewarm but the sides served with the pretzels made up for it. The wings at jocks were warmer than the pretzels but super soggy. It seemed like they're just sitting back there in a steam table already sauced and waiting to come out.
