I just heard that both the food and drink menu changed. Does anyone have info on this? I am really sad because both were great and very different. It was #1 on my to do list for my trip in 2 weeks.
TIA

I went a few wks after it opened and while I loved the theming & decor (and staff were great), the drinks & food were not good. In particular, the mixed drink I had (Reggie's) was just awful. Tasted like a power sports drink. Little flavour & even less booze. My guess is that word got round, especially amongst the locals, that the fare wasn't up to par and finally triggered an overhaul. Everyone expects $$ at DIS Springs. But there needs to be some quality in exchange for that $$. Just my two cents but looking at this as a very positive development.

I wonder what happened. I was last there in May, the food was excellent and drinks were strong. Sorry you didn't enjoy.

Disney Parks Blog just posted these new food items. Sallah’s Falafel, sweet potato falafel served with Romesco sauce, pickled vegetables, Swiss chard, herbed yogurt-cheese and grilled naan bread; Temple Tenderloin, sliced beef tenderloin stacked high on a toasted baguette with Swiss cheese, tomato, arugula, and radish slaw; and Tanis Tuna Tacos, seared Ahi tuna in a tortilla shell with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream pico de gallo, cilantro, jalapeño and a toasted lime. I guess we will hear reviews soon.

I have yet to have a decent mojito anywhere in WDW.

My husband is somewhat of a Mojito connoisseur coming from a Puerto Rican household and is very particular about his rums and the balance of mint leaves, etc. That said, he was floored by the Mojito at grand Floridian 1900 park fare last spring. He ordered expecting nothing and ended up posting a pic of the drink to his Facebook page, that's how good it was. He still talks about it and we plan to go back next time.

We'll know to avoid jock Lindsey's faux-jito now though.

We love Jock's went last November and this past March. Looking forward to trying the new menu items. Our drinks have always been good :drinking1
