If I went to bed right now, I'd be looking at less than 6hrs of sleep.

I never really picked out an outfit to wear. At least it's still on the cool side, so I can get away with a long sleeved shirt. And since there's fewer of those, it's easier to pick from.

I've made 7 out of 10 pillow cases for my GAD project that I have to drive over an hour away tomorrow to drop off. I just bought the sewing machine tonight. And my first time using one.

I'm so strung out from needing sleep, being nervous, and needing more time in the day.

Wouldn't a sewing machine cost more than the one day ticket to WDW?:confused3

Sounds hectic, good luck today and don't drive if you are too tired... too dangerous.

Good luck on that interview! When you get home you can take a nap. :)

no, i got the sewing machine cheap. And my mom is sharing the cost of the project, so she technically bought the machine, i bought the material (sales, coupons, remnants, so i saved a ton).

Four hours of sleep. And i'll be fine to drive. Once my day gets started, i'll wake up. And hopefully i'll be on an emotional high after this.

well i showed up really early, like a half hour. But the interview seemed to last ten minutes. They said they'd call either way, so thats a bit better.

I hate situational questions. I have a hard time recalling situations that happened like that.

Oh well. I won't be surprised if i don't get it.

you've been on the boards for two years, and you haven't figured out what GAD means? It's the disney give a day program.

I had no idea what GAD was either.:confused3

Maybe it's just the budget board - GAD is all over the place there! I puzzle over the acronyms people use here all the time and I knew immediately.

::yes::

I have been here for three years and I couldn't figure out what GAD meant either. :rotfl:

The OP's comment doesn't even make any sense. Given that it is this year's promotion, being on the DIS for 1 versus 2 versus 23 years would have any impact on whether or not you know what "GAD" means.

Think Positive! :thumbsup2

Is this for a full time job? If so, will you keep the mexican restaurant job to help to save up extra money?

sorry i get frustrated typing on my phone. The keyboard is so small, that i don't always put everything i want to say.

i was also mocking myself, there's so many acronyms on boards these days, i have no idea what any of them mean, nor do i care to find out. I usually only use acronyms to Disney, like MK, DAK, studios. Because it's a Disney board and almost every one here knows what they mean. I guess GAD is a budget board thing, i always forget where i see topics since i frequent about 4 or 5 boards normally, just on this site.

I hope i get the call when i'm off. Although i'd still probably answer if it wasn't busy. I wasn't prepared for the questions they asked, more about what would you do, what did you do in these situations. There were three of them in
there too. I was hoping more for the personality type question. So i just feel like i blew it. And i was like the first or second interview of the morning. I don't know how many applicants or how many positions are available.

yes, i will keep both jobs. My manager now is really hoping i get it as well. And she's the one that writes the schedule. If i get in at discovery cove, which is the park i applied to, it closes early enough to work the dinner/closing shift. Plus it's only seasonal till next jan. A) so they don't have to offer benefits, B) they don't have to schedule full timers during the slow season.
