Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon have been cast as Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash in a new movie biography of "the man in black" called "Walk The Line" and set to begin filming soon.

I could absolutely see Joaquin as the "young" Johnny Cash. He had that lean and dark look about him.
For JP lovers...have you seen him in "Quills" yet ? It garnered a few Academy Award nominations a couple years ago. He is soooo intense in it. Geoffrey Rush, Michael Caine, and Kate Winslet also star. Along with his work in Gladiator, I continue to be impressed with his ability.

I was never a big Joaquin fan until I saw him in Signs...now I love the guy!
