Hi Joanne - I've been reading your PJ but don't think I've commented yet (bad habit of reading when not logged in ).

You are so close now! Enjoy every minute and I hope you have a wonderful day (I'm sure you will!). You will cherish these memories - I'm still on a happy "high" from our vow renewal, which was now over 6 months ago. I'm secretly plotting as to when we can do it again (shhh, don't tell DH).

Don't worry too much about the possibility of rain. Even if you do get a few showers I'm sure you'll be so caught up in the magic of the day that it just won't matter.

Claire sweetie - I know I shouldn't stress about rain, but I can't help it. My gorgeous DH would say that it is because it is the one thing that I have no control over and I am a control freak!!! I couldn't possibly comment.....

Little Stinkerbell (I have very rudely forgotten your name. I am so sorry!!) - Hi and thanks for your lovely comments. I am also guilty of reading people's PJs/TRs and not posting on them. For example, I read all about your beautiful VR and probably didn't comment once!!! I will say, that I am not at all surprised that you have such wonderful memories as it was a breathtaking day. I know what you mean about the thoughts about doing it again creeping in!!!! I think that I would have to drug, bind and gag DH in order to have him do it again!!! He has been very gracious and helpful this time around and I know will put up with anything in order to make me happy, but as it is not really 'his thing' I wouldn't ask him to do it again!!..... Or would I......

My planning is somewhat at a stand still - we have everything picked out, but we're too far out for Disney to let me book or make a deposit

I DID get Randy Chapman to pencil us in for our tentative date and got deposit off to him

I am so looking forward to having him photograph our day!!
I know, you do get to that stage where the initial planning stops and you have to wait to get everything booked, and then there is a lull again until the last minute rush. The last minute rush is where I am at the moment (and believe me, I feel like it is a big rush!!)

Oh my gosh! You are at the 2 week mark! When are you headed to Disney? Don't worry too much about rain. I live in FL and it has been as dry as ever lately. You have a while longer until the rainy season kicks in. If by chance it does rain there are some beautiful lobbies in the Swan where you can do your vows. Maybe they'll even let you use the indoor fountains? There was a Dis'er who had her swan wedding rained out and her photos of her indoor wedding still came out beautiful. She used a quiet hallway that was gorgeous.

Jillian sweetie - Thank you. We drive to Manchester on Saturday 30th April and stay the night at a hotel at the airport and then fly on 1st May. I am trying so hard not to worry about the weather!!! Karen assures me that if we are rained out she will make it as beautiful as she can indoors. I trust her completely and know that this is true. I am trying so hard not to stress but it is so hard!!!

Sweet Kasper - Thank you for the lovely things you said!! If I have helped anybody else during my planning journey, I am honoured and priviledged!!! I have enjoyed every moment of my planning and have met so many special people (albeit cyberly!!). I will have the absolute pleasure of meeting Crissy and James and I may also be able to meet Mary (disneemama). I can't wait to chat at last face to face, with these people who have been my friends on the boards for many months now!!!

Sweet Catherine - I am glad you are back. You were missed!!! Thank you for your kind words!! I am so looking forward to seeing the Royal Wedding on the TV too. I will be sat rooted to my sofa and watch every bit of it!!! It is the day before we leave, so I need to ensure that all the preperations for the trip/VR are made well in advance, so as I can just sit and watch the wedding (stress-free) on the day!! Gracious!!! I am so glad my VR will not be televised. How nerve-racking would that be???? I feel for poor Kate!!!

(I'm not sure where some of my emails end up) She finally received emails from him yesterday so I am hoping he has contacted you by now. I understand how this must be so frustrating for you.
