JMC/Thomas Cook flights

I've tried to book extra leg room seats on our flights with JMC/Thomas Cook and can only get them on the return. When the tickets have come though, there are two rows of 'non-bookable medical seats' with extra legroom. Does anyone know if these are sold at check-in if they're not used for medical reasons?

We flew with Thomas Cook last year and asked at check-in for the extra leg room which and we had probably the seats you were on about on the way there. We couldn't get them on the way back unfortunately. I would ask for them at the check-in desk if I were you.

Thanks. I'm not particularly tall but we got them in Oct by default because they were the only seats left when we checked in and it makes a huge difference to the flight. Well worth paying for.
